JACOB'S POV

I walked into my home. This was where I lived normally and I lived here alone with only a few servants.

So I was pretty shocked to my sister sitting on my bar stool and munching on an apple.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.

"Eating an apple. Can't you see?" May giving indirect and obvious answers means she's up to something and her visit has a purpose.

"May I am your brother. I know you have something to tell me. What is it?"

"Actually I don't have something to tell you, I have something to ask"

"Fine what is it?"

"You know that my engagement reception is day after tomorrow and me and James have agreed on a rule. Everyone has to come with a date. Of course, unless you are a kid. Anyways, this rule applies for all including you. So you have to bring a date but don't worry I saved you the trouble and I got you one. You know how I hate those models you "hang out" with"

I narrowed my eyes. I already knew who she set me up with but still I asked. "Who?"

"Your very own PA. Natalie Devans"

"No"

Her face dropped. "What?"

"I am not taking her as my date"

"But I asked her and she said yes"

"She did?"

"Uh-huh. She said she was as rather excited."

Oh well, should I say yes or not. If I said no it would seem rather rude.

"Fine.... I'll go with her"

May started jumping around "I knew you liked her. Why don't you tell her?"

I sighed. May is the only one I can tell anything to other than James and since they both are engaged whatever I say May will go to James and whatever I say to James will go to May.

"May...I have barely talked to her but whenever I do I don't know why but it leaves me in a good mood. I know I like her but I want to take things slow not like the other girls. I want her to stay."

May looked shocked. She only said "take you time" and left.

My life is a mess. A weeks ago I never would have thought I would come across a woman who will make me feel like this without even talking to her.

In the back of my mind I am actually afraid. I don't want to get too attached to her because if she doesn't like me I will be heartbroken in a way that can't be healed.

Cheesy much? Yeah I know but you know not every time love is two sided it can be one sided too but you may never know. So what do you think is going to happen at reception. Will they both finally kiss?? Or will some unimaginable drama happen?
