Natalie's POV
"No" I said. As much as I wanted to agree to his condition I needed a few answers from him.
His face dropped. "Well, then I will fire her"
"No" Don't ask me why i was defending her, okay?
"Well, then you have to agree to the condition. Remember I am the boss,not you"
"I want to know something. That day in the construction why did you kiss me? And why do you want to kiss me? Be honest, do you like me or something? Its okay if you like me cause i like you." the words just tumbled out of my mouth before i realized.
Then without any warning he came closer to me and kissed me, hard. I responded back.
I finally broke the kiss and opened my mouth to speak but before I could say anything he spoke
"Natalie. I like you and you like me. What now?"
My heart EXPLODED. He likes me? What? The big bad boy (or should I say man) actually likes me but of course I don't let it show.
"I have a question though"
"What?" I loved the way his eyebrows lifted when he was confused.
"Are you going to fire Stephanie or not?"
He took some time to answer "Hmm...let's see. If Stephanie wouldn't have told you the fake stuff then you wouldn't have come here which means I would have never gotten to know who you like and you would have never gotten to know I liked you. So therefore I conclude that, I will not fire her."
I laughed and he laughed to and for a moment everything seemed alright when I realized he hadn't asked me out yet. Well, if he liked me then what's wrong in asking me out?
"I was wondering....." I started when he interrupted me.
"Go wear something beautiful. We're going out to eat" and he left me alone in the room.
OMFG was he taking me out for a date?
