NATALIE'S POV

After I went away from Jacob and admitted to myself that I am slowly falling in love with my boss, I did the stupidest thing ever.

I went and flirted. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy but a one sided love is not something I am very keen about so to get my mind off Jacob who probably was never gonna love me back I flirted.

This time my target was Gary. The police officer who remembers every single detail of the "crimes" I have committed. He was invited here by May's parents who were currently in Brazil with James's parents.

"Hey, Gary, right? " I asked. Flirting 101- however good looking the guy was pretend you're not into him but keep flirting with him.

"Oh! I didn't know you were here, Natalie " he blushed. He looked pretty good (please, don't compare him with Jacob). He had blond hair and blue eyes.

"But I am here" I said, lamely. Anyways not like it matters.

"I don't know if you have heard this before but you are exceptionally hot. I mean beautiful. Definitely beautiful "

I know I was supposed to thank him for the compliment but what he said got me thinking back about Jacob. He had said somewhat the same thing.

I had to stop thinking about him. I leaned him. Gary, realizing what I was going to do, leaned further in leaving very less space between us. Before my mind could go back to Jacob. I kissed him. (Yes people, I kissed him first. What? Never heard of a girl take the first move?)

He kissed me back, which was expected. I wrapped my arms around pulling him closer.

"What the fucking hell is happening here? " I heard Jacob's voice. Was that jealousy I hear in his voice? No way! It's just my imagination.

Well of course we broke apart the kiss. Jacob's face was expressionless. All my fantasies of Jacob liking me went down the drain. Though I was a little hurt, I didn't show it.

"What? " I said and glared at him. Acting thoroughly irritated. Actually I was kinda unhappy about the fact that he broke the kiss, I was actually enjoying it.

He didn't respond to my question so I turned my face to Gary and leaned in to kiss him again. If he doesn't care then neither do I.

My lips were about to touch Gary's when Jacob pushed Gary aside, causing him to fall on the floor. My eyes were still closed and I didn't know that Jacob was standing in front of me, so my lips ended on top of his. I opened my eyes, realized it was Jacob and went back. It wasn't exactly a kiss it was a peck on the lips.

I flushed scarlet red. Shit! Even though it was just a peck on the lips, the inside of my stomach was churning.

Jacob was standing there unmoved. There was no way on I earth I could guess what he was thinking.

So they finally kiss. I know it's not that exciting or something but nevertheless it was a kiss. And IF they kiss, do you want it to be Natalie pov or Jacob's, let me know and I said only IF ;)
