JACOB'S POV

I was getting calls over calls and i knew i couldn't ignore them forever. I was the CEO of a company after all.

After what seemed like a year, I went to my office.

It was obvious that people could see a change in me. I didn't come to office to work. I came here to fire someone. In front of everyone.

I stood in the middle of our first floor where everyone comes in and goes out and as usual it was bustling with people.

I walk up to the front desk and see my brother in law.

Without even acknowledging him, I just say, " Call Stephanie here."

He looks up. He smiles. "Oh! Hey Jacob. Long time no see bro. Where-"

"I asked you to call Stephanie. Will you call her or should I fire you?"

His smile dropped. "Sure"

He takes up the telephone and calls out her office number.

"Hello Stephanie. Jacob sir is calling you. Be in the main lobby ASAP"

I nodded as he made the call and waited. I was seething with anger and there was nothing more I wanted to do than humiliate Stephanie.

I saw Stephanie walking up to me, a smile plastered on her face. By just seeing her face, I felt like punching her.

"Sir? Did you call me?" Bitch.

"I did."

Her smile grew even bigger and she said, "Why did you call me, sir? And that too here. We could've have gone to my office or even better, yours"

"I wanted to do it here for a reason."

"What?"

"STEPHANIE YOU ARE FIRED FROM FERRARIS AND CO."

As I screamed everyone in the main lobby turned and looked at us. Perfect. It was exactly what I wanted.

"Wha-what sir? What did I do?"

"I AM NOT AN IDIOT. YOU DON'T THINK FOR PAST THREE YEARS I HAVEN'T NOTICED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SEDUCE ME. YOU THOUGHT I WAS THAT OBLIVIOUS? WELL I GUESS NOT. I KEPT YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE GOOD AT YOUR WORK. BUT NOW YOU'VE CROSSED THE LIMITS. YOU'VE STOOPED SO LOW THAT YOU DROVE MY GIRLFRIEND AWAY. DO YOU WANT ME TO LIST ANYMORE REASONS WHY I WANTED TO FIRE YOU?"

Stephanie was as red as a tomato. She had never been this humiliated in her life. I know it sounds evil, but I felt a weird sense of satisfaction after she started crying. After all, she did make Natalie cry.

Without a word, Stephanie left the office and everyone else just stood there gaping at me.

I turned to them. "Get back to work! Do you want me to fire y'all the same way?"
