When their S/O was stabbed, but able to survive:
Okita Sougo
- You thought he was a sadist now? Ohh just wait
- Anyone who even thinks of hurting his s/o is not going to live to see the next day
- He gets sadistic smile on his face and a cold look in his eyes. He's going to taunt and belittle them before he takes them down
-Afterwards he will rush to his s/o side to see how serious the injuries is and he won't hesitate to take them to get help
- He may not seem like it on the outside, but you can tell by the look in his eyes that he's panicing a little
- The entire time he'll reassure them that it's going to be okay
Hijikata Toushirou
- Being the hothead that he is, he's going to yell a lot and retaliate. There's no way they're going to get away with this
- If his s/o loses consciousness he's going to be the first one they see when they wake up. His worry is written all over his face.
- Seeing his s/o in such a state stresses him out and he ends up snapping at everyone even the doctors.
- Like Gintoki, he blames himself for not being able to protect them.
Sakata Gintoki
- He gets that cold look in his eyes and goes silent.
- If he wasn't around when it happened, he would ask his s/o who did this to them, but his tone would be cold and almost emotionless. He's not going to let them get away with hurting his s/o.
- He won't leave his s/o's side until they're better but he also won't say much. He's going to beat himself up over what happened, blaming himself because he should've been there to protect them
