Michael looked at Brandy and hesitated for a few seconds. He was very shy about the song he wrote for her.
Michael was a very sensitive person, and now he had to show his feelings to all her family members by performing his song about Brandy.
He had to do it, so he had no choice.
Michael stood up and stood in the middle.
"I um.. I have a final present for you, Brandy. It took me some time to work it out, but I finished it. I wrote a song about you, called 'the lady in my life', and I will sing it for you."
Brandy listened to his words and became very quiet. She just couldn't believe that he actually took the time to write a song about her.
Michael was a very busy person, but still, he took the time to do it and put all his love into it.
"I can't believe it..", Brandy whispered, while she looked at Michael with big eyes.
Michael smiled her her, while everyone in the room became quiet.

The last instrumental tones of the song played out loud, and while Michael looked at Brandy, he saw that she had tears in her eyes.
Everyone was so quiet, and when the room became even more quiet because the music stopped, Michael felt really shy for a few seconds.
Then the room suddenly filled up with claps and cheers.
"Amazing."
"Out of this world."
"Wonderful."
Brandy's family was in complete aw and so was Brandy herself.
She stood up and walked up to Michael.
She put her arms around him and gave him a tight hug.
"That was beautiful, Michael.. I can't believe you wrote this for me.", she whispered in his ear.
Michael smiled and carefully placed a kiss on her forehead.
"I'm so in love with you, I just can't stop writing songs about you. You deserve all the love in the world.", he whispered back.
Brandy smiled and slowly let go of him.
"I love you so much.", she said.
