Theme: Rain pouring down in sheets, but it's the opposite of romantic

Dean

Slick boots pounding against the forest floor. Sticks snapping. The call of unfamiliar birds. The static rush of rain deafening. His heart pounding, chest heaving. Lungs burning as they fight for air. He yells out your name again. There's a scream in response. Legs pumping with adrenaline. Fatigued muscles ready to snap. He can't find you. He can hear you but he can't find you. He can't find you. He can't find you.

Sam

He's trapped. A metal casket with an unknown purpose buried in the ground. A small section of grey sky visible through bars. Kicking against steel. Chest tight as the walls seem to close in. An inch of pooling water growing as the rain intensifies. It covers his legs, his arms. When you find him his chest is submerged. A clanging sound as you hack at the lock with a shovel. Your words are calm, your hands shaking, movements frantic. Face pressed against the bars, clinging to the last moments of air. You'd save him. You always do. One last gasp. Completely submerged. Chest burning, heart racing. You'd save him. Involuntary gasp, rush of water filling his lungs. Mind fading into black. You'd save him. You always saved him.

Cas

A flash flood. A raging river. A boat much too small. Water pours from the heavens. Loud crashes from angry gods. Cracks of lightening too close for comfort. The rush of water muffling your warnings. Frantic hands draining water from the boat. Your strong voice. A calm voice. Voice of a leader telling him to stay calm. His human form unable to handle the stress. Powerless child, unable to help. Rocks slamming into the boat. Wood splintering. Your hand gripping his arm, focusing his attention. Another slam. He's thrown overboard. You're there in an instant. Determined eyes meeting his blue ones. Blue eyes filled with terror. Realization of the situation. He's human. He's human and he can't swim.
