When we got out we saw two shadowy figures. The light dimmed and we noticed it was Marc and Jake. Marc was holding a book of some sort.
"This was why I didn't want them to see their future selves," Jake said to Marc.
"You know they would see them eventually."
"Yeah, but not like this."
"You know we can hear you," Chris told them.
"Oh!" Marc said, "We didn't notice you."
"So what was with the future us?" I asked.
"Your future selves were put in a time loop-" Marc started to say
"We already know that" Chris interrupted.
"But did you know they were given a prophecy?" Marc asked.
Marc opened the ancient book and read,
"Forever stuck in this time loop
Watching the days go by.
You will find a group
That you will rely.
A group of two
That looks like you.
Will give you a new
Point of view
You must beware
When they are there.
You will attack
To bring back
The old life you knew.
In this last verse
You will lift your curse
And save the universe."
"After reading that, I now realize that you guys just fulfilled their prophecy. They are probably very thankful. I wish the bottom piece wasn't ripped. Something could be missing to the prophecy, " Marc said.
"Who was the one that gave the prophecy?" I asked.
"The creator of time himself," Jake answered.
"Well.. let's go meet him," Chris said.
