Serious topic and I'm writing this even tho one of my irl friends reads this. Oh well.

You peeps know what Otherkin is right? If not, and I'm willing to bet that you don't fully understand it (I don't but I do know something) then here.

Otherkin are fully aware that they're human. They know that they have human genetics and human bodies and are human beings. They just feel that they were animals in a past life and sometimes they feel phantom limbs. Sometimes it's wings, sometimes a muzzle, sometimes they have a full-on phantom shift and feel like whatever animal they were. I think I read that being Otherkin can cause species dysphoria, but I'm unsure.

Anyway, treat people like people. Don't be an asshole to people who feel different. Trans people feel different too, and yes, other people treat them like shit sometimes, but that doesn't mean that you should.

Be kind. Be pleasant in general. Don't assume.

And no, I'm not Otherkin. I'm just kind enough to research topics to allow people to understand. And if any Otherkin are reading this, let me know if I got something wrong either just in the comments or via PM.

Love you peeps <3
