Taeyong ;

  "honey, i want to start working again."

  "do you want to be my assistant in the office?"

  "won't i just trouble you?"

  jaehyun shook his head and wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.

  "i actually want you to be my assistant so that we still can see each other often."

  "we're already living in the same house and we basically see each other the moment we wake up and right before we fall asleep."

  "but still," jaehyun pouted, trying to come up with another excuse.

  i chuckled, "alright, i'll be your assistant again."

  jaehyun's face lit up upon hearing my words and pecked on my lips.

  "go back to cooking before you burn the house down."

  jaehyun laughed and went back to cooking lunch. we served the side dishes on plates and set up the dining table. sitting down opposite each other, we enjoyed lunch that was accompanied with our conversations. after cleaning up ourselves, we slumped onto the couch, jaehyun wrapping his arms around my waist and his cheek on my shoulder.

  "so is it alright for you to start work tomorrow?" he asked.

  "yeah. the sooner the better."

  when taeyong was back in jaehyun's company, everyone gave him a warm welcome and made sure that he felt comfortable around them. everything was pretty much the same when taeyong had left, other than the fact that he and jaehyun were now in a relationship. the two of them kept their relationship hidden and did their best to not let it interfere with their work. however, jaehyun would occasionally get jealous especially when coworkers went out to get lunch with taeyong without the presence of jaehyun.

  taeyong was chatting with some of his female coworkers over a cup of coffee when jaehyun appeared from his office to pass some documents to taeyong.

  "i need you to go through these papers and report it to me afterwards," jaehyun instructed.

  taeyong nodded and took a last sip of his coffee.

  "well the boss has summoned me. i'll catch up will y'all later," with that, he stood up and took the documents from jaehyun.

  the ladies smiled and waved goodbye to jaehyun and taeyong, continuing with their conversations afterwards. jaehyun and taeyong smiled back at them and returned to their office. taeyong sat in his seat and proceeded to look through the documents, taking note what needed to be improved and such. jaehyun approached him from the back and rested his chin on taeyong's shoulder, peeking at what he was doing.

  "yes boss?" taeyong asked.

  "where's the attention that i get?" jaehyun pouted.

  taeyong chuckled, "what happened to putting our work lives and personal lives separate?"

  jaehyun pouted and nodded his head. standing up, he retreated to his seat and stared at the papers with pursed lips. taeyong rested his chin on his palm, staring at jaehyun. with a sigh of defeat, taeyong got up from his seat and headed towards jaehyun who was sulking. with a smile, taeyong bent down and pecked on jaehyun's cheeks. jaehyun smiled and grabbed taeyong by the waist, pulling him onto his lap. taeyong, now propped on jaehyun's lap, was red from embarrassment.

  "w-what if s-someone c-comes in?" taeyong stuttered.

  "it's alright, they'll knock." jaehyun wrapped his arms around taeyong tighter, nuzzling at taeyong's back.

  taeyong nodded slowly," a-about the documents..."

  "bring the documents here and we can go through it."

  jaehyun released taeyong from his grasp and let taeyong bring the documents to the table. when taeyong was back, jaehyun patted on his lap and stretched his arms out to him. taeyong nodded and sat on jaehyun's lap, returning to the position that they were in. the two were cuddling with each other comfortably as they went through the documents together. jaehyun occasionally blowing at taeyong's ear to tease him, which taeyong would react by jerking and squeezing jaehyun's thigh afterwards.

  "and you'll help me for the reunion dinner in two days right?" jaehyun asked.

  taeyong nodded, leaning onto jaehyun as they finally finished going through the documents.
