taeyong woke up, massaging his temples as he let out a groan. he cursed, regretting drinking so much the night before that he had a hangover the day after. slowly getting off from the bed, he went to the bathroom to wash up.

he wondered whether ten and johnny stayed the night too, since that's what they usually did every time they drank at his apartment. as expected, he saw the two preparing breakfast in the kitchen. taeyong greeted them good morning and took a seat on the dining table. the couple set up the table, serving the dishes they had cooked.

"they probably wont taste as great as your cooking but it'll help with your hangover."

taeyong thanked them before they all started to eat together.

"did i do anything crazy last night?" taeyong asked after swallowing.

johnny and ten glanced at each other before looking back at taeyong instead.

"i wouldn't consider it crazy," ten spoke up, "but i think you should check your phone later i guess."

taeyong furrowed his eyebrows and nodded slowly. he couldn't remember anything else from last night after downing the cocktails.

the couple helped to bring the dirty plates and utensils to the sink, wanting to help taeyong wash them. taeyong insisted that they go home instead and leave the cleaning to him, saying that they already did enough and should go home to get proper rest. johnny and ten gave in, bidding him goodbye as they left the place.

after washing the dishes, he went back to his room and laid down on his bed, grabbing his phone from the bedside table. looking through his notifications, he noticed that he recieved messages from jaehyun.

"you probably wont remember what you said when you're sober but i just want to say that im sorry," taeyong read, "i dont blame you for anything and i hope you're doing well. make sure to take care of yourself and eat your meals too. again im sorry, really."

"god."

taeyong laid on his bed, "what did i even tell him last night?"

taeyong went to his contacts and searched for jaehyuns' contact. his thumb hovered at the button, hesitating whether to do it. with a sigh, he pressed on the button, blocking jaehyun and deleting the number from his phone.

that way, he thought, he wont repeat his mistake of calling jaehyun ever again.
