Parallel lines.
And other lies.
Because everyone knows that these lines are not stuck without contact forever.
Curiosity will get the best of them someday.
More than a name, they want physical touch.
They have watched throughout time as the other has struggled.
All of the tears, all of the anger, all of the fears.
Eventually, one of them will break the laws of mathematics...
and they will fight their way to hug their friend.
We have been traveling side-by-shaken-side for as long as I can remember,
and someday...
someday I'm going to break the law.
I am going to fight my way into your arms.
And we are going to prove that parallel means something much different than what everyone imagined.
We were taught wrong,
parallel lines do touch.
parallel lines are not forever in their solitude.
Someday we will be together, we will touch.
We will break all of the laws, we will disregard any rule.
Someday soon...
You will see.
