"Wes...Cari. There's something I've been meaning to tell y'all." Jazmine said to her cousins while we were all sitting at my long ass dining table I never use.
"What's that?" Wes asked.
"Um...well we sort of offed Tiny." She said.
"Tough," Cari said before taking a spoonful of greens.
"Welp," Wes said.
"That's it?" I asked. "Y'all not mad."
They both shook their heads no in unison. Jaz family ruthless as hell. Her aunties were minding their business while taking pictures of their food they made to post on Snap and her uncles just went back to grab seconds. When they came back is when I decided to speak.
"Okay yall, I know we just met and all but I wanted to just say something."
"Speak Kammy," Pooch said making me sigh.
"Okay well as yall know Jaz and I have been living together and actually have been together for 6 months. So, now is the right time that I let y'all know me and her will be getting married." I state making everyone look at me crazy including Jazmine.
"Really Kam?" she asked. I nodded my head excited to see her reaction when I pull out this ring I've been had since I met her.
"So," I start before I get on my one knee at the table. "Will you marry me Jaz?"
"We'll think about it. Give us 7-10 business days." Pooch said intervening before Zay slaps him on the back of his head.
Jaz smiled and looked around at her aunties and uncles. Sanaa smiled at her and nodded her head yes while Dom looked concerned but also happy. Jaz started to nod her head which made my heart dropped in a good way.

"Nigga who are you and how you get in here?" Slim asked standing up.
"Kam's dad," Jaz answered.
"Glad to know my soon to be daughter in law remembers me." He said smiling then looked at her. "I always remember a pretty too."
"Get out yo," I said standing up and pointing to the door.
"So, I'm not invited to the wedding?" He asked pretending to be hurt.
"Nigga you heard him. Get out and stop acting like a little ass kid." Dom said standing up too.
"This yo new daddy?" He asked pointing to him.
I heard Jazmine get up and walk over to him stand in front of him. I don't know what she was doing but knowing her she was probably about to slap this nigga silly. I didn't know if I should stop her or let her do her thing.
