It didn't take long for Riley and Thornton to leave Mac and Cameron's house, Jack staying longer then the two girls. Once Thornton and Riley left Cameron retreated to her bedroom wanting to be on her own for a little bit. The two boys watched her leave worried about their friend and the place she had found herself in.

"You know I don't know what's eating her up more what Nikki did, or seeing her father," Jack said looking over at Mac who was looking at Cameron's window.

"I think it is probably a combination of both," Mac said turning back to Jack, who held a worried expression on his face.

"She was doing really well," Jack said to Mac, knowing how well Cameron had been doing lately with everything she had been through in the past, "I'm going to let you make sure she is okay, but let me know if either of you need anything," Jack said standing up, Mac following him to the door to see his friend out. After Jack had left Mac made his way over to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate before he made his way over to Cameron's room knocking on the door before entering.

"Hey, I brought hot chocolate," Mac said looking at his friend who was sitting on her bed with a pink baby girl teddy that she had had for years in her lap. Mac frowns placing the cups down on the desk making his way over to Cameron sitting next to her on the bed, "Talk to me," Mac said taking the girls hand. She looks up at him with tear in her eyes. Mac's heart breaks a little wishing she would talk to him.

"I froze," Camron said looking at her and Mac's joined hands, "When I saw him I froze I couldn't do anything about it, I thought I was over everything that man had done to me."

Mac sighed understanding why Cameron was upset, well it was more like she was frustrated with herself. She thought she was getting better and moving on from the stuff her dad had done to her.

"It's okay to not be fully okay with what your dad did to you Cam, you don't have to prove to anyone that you are okay," Mac said to his friend, "And you don't have to act like you're okay in front of me, you should know that."

Cameron looked up at Mac as a tear ran down her face. Mac smiled sadly at the girl wiping a tear from her face.

"You know I should be the one comforting you, your girlfriend is now a criminal. After us thinking she dead for 3 months," Cameron said, "How are you?" She asked wanting to get off the topic of her dad.

"I will be okay and so will you in time," Mac said to the young girl.

"I'm glad you're my best friend Mac," Cameron said to the blonde next to her, "I don't know what I would do without you." Mac smiled at the girl glad he had her as well.

" Well you are never going to get rid of meand that's a promise," Mac said to the girl pulling her into a side hug.The two stayed like that for so long that when Bozer came home from work hefound Cameron's bedroom door open with the two blondes asleep on her bedcuddled up together with untouched hot chocolate that was now cold. Bozer justsmiled at the scene taking a photo and sending it to Jack. He wouldn't admit itto them but he was rooting for the two to end up together. And everyone aroundthem could see how much they cared for each other it was just the two blondeswho couldn't see it.

A/N - As said at the start this chapter has been edited but only slightly, there aren't any major changes to it just a few grammar amendments.
