It had been about 2 months since Nikki had been killed, Mac got shot and they lost the virus. In that time Mac had taken time off work on medical leave while Cameron and Jack continued to work trying to find the virus and the person who killed Nikki and shot Mac. To say Cameron wanted to see some action was an understatement she was incredibly bored. When she walked through the door of her house, she wasn't surprised to see Mac standing on the deck looking out into the sky, something she found him doing a lot lately. Cameron dropped her bag onto the couch as she walked out to stand next to her friend.
"Hey," Cameron said quietly looking up into the sky.
"Hi," Mac muttered not moving from where he was looking.
"I'm not going to ask if you are okay, cause I know you aren't," Cameron said looking at Mac, before either of them could say anything else Cameron's phone started to go off. She pulled It out of her pocket surprised to see that it was Lou who was phoning her.
"Hey, Lou what's up?" Cameron answered the phone not expecting to hear what she did.
"Cam, how fast can you get to Hawaii?" Lou asked sounding very serious causing the expression on Cameron's face to change from one of surprise to worry which didn't go unnoticed by Mac who turned to face his friend.
