Recap:

"Dylan!" I laugh clutching my stomach. "Stop! You're making me cry. Aww you're one of a kind. I really gotta go pee now." I shake my head and leave him, still chuckling away to myself.

All About Dylan (Part 1)

"What do we have here?"

I have just exited the bathroom, only to come face to face with Zoe Wendylene. Zoe who I met when she we had to register in Phoenix. I remember our encounter clearly.

I stand behind a girl wearing a floor length green dress. Personally, I dislike green-especially as a colour to wear-but this girl seems to pull it off. She's actually quite beautiful. That is until she opens her big, not so beautiful, mouth.

"Who are you? And what an earth are you wearing?" She turns her nose up at my clothes and I fight the urge to laugh.

"Rosaline Princeton. Who are you?" I ignore her second question but she doesn't seem to care.

"Zoe Wendylene. Remember the name. I am the future Princess, Britain's next Queen. Just you watch and see." She smirks at me and before I have the chance to comment, she spins back around and moves forward. I sigh in frustration, already dreading the type of girls I'm bound to meet - just today even, let alone worst case scenario if I get picked! No doubt they're all going to be Zoe's... I don't even want to meet this Prince, and I sure as hell do not want to marry him.

I find myself smiling as I recall my stubborn reluctance to meet the Prince; before I met Dylan and he made me promise to give Stefan a chance. Thank God I did. Look how much I've changed now.

"Why are you smiling?" Zoe snaps, frowning. I'd completely forgotten she was standing in front of me.

"Oh, nothing."

Just you. I add in my head.

"Watch your back Princeton." She growls and I almost do a double take.

"Are you threatening me?"

"No. I'm... warning you; stay away from Stefan. He's mine. Think of this as me making you a promise. And I always follow through on my promises." She snarls before spinning on her heel and sashaying away.

I stand frozen to the spot for a moment before shaking myself. I really don't have the time - or energy - to be dealing with her right now. I brush off her comment and return to the ball before Lexi or Dylan come looking for me, wondering why I'm taking so long.

"Rosaline?"

"Eurgh." I groan.

"Miss Rosaline?"

"Mfnshudbtmmdh!" I mumble into my pillow which most definitely made more sense in my head.

"Miss?"

"Argh! Mum! For God's-wait. Miss?" I open an eye to see Courtney and Lily peering down at me.

"Oh! Lily! Courtney! I'm sorry."

"It's okay! Good morning." They giggle.

"What time is it?"

"12.00! You were dead to the world!" Lily chuckles.

The ball went on until the early hours of the morning. We must have finally cleared out at around 2.30/3.00am. Wow.

"Thank you girls."

"There's some food on a tray for you on your dressing table. And a note."

They quickly curtsey before scurrying out.
