"Leave the room Bash, I just want to get ready in silence." I slam my hand onto the bathroom counter and he shakes his head before leaning his body on the doorframe.

"You don't need to cover the bruises. You still look beautiful." He mentions softly as I try and press the green concealer into my neck. "As for the concussion, that's a bit harder to deal with." He teases and I manage to let out a smile.

"It's hard to go places when you have strangulation marks all over you. Especially with your boyfriend who looks very brooding and as if he could strangle someone." I turn to him with sass and he takes a deep breath before coming over to me and taking a spot on the vanity seat with me.

"Then we'll just have to stay inside for the next few days." He starts to leave kisses on the side of my face and I grab his hair to pull him closer.

"I love you, I really do, but stop." I whisper before pulling him away. "And I'm doing work today so please let me get ready without distractions."

"Speaking of work, your office is finally complete and ready for its Luna."

"And speaking of my office, please tell me you didn't make it too girly." I plead as I try to finish blending my concealer. "You know I'm not girly."

"Yeah that's exactly why I made it pink. Lots of flowers and everything." He grabs my waist before yanking me up and pulling me downstairs with him.

"We have transformed the large walk in closet." He motions before turning to the door and closing my eyes. "Ready?" He kisses my cheek for the millionth time today before revealing the cutest office I've ever seen.

"Bastian." I turn back to him before grabbing his hand. "It's perfect." I smile while going over to the desk and seeing a photo of us that Logan took of us when we were dressed up for the gala.

"You can thank my sisters. They knew exactly what furniture, so I did the labor and heavy lifting and they ordered me around."

"When did you get this done?" I run my hand over the desk and he shrugs.

"Been something I wanted to do since you became more involved. I figured I wanted you to have an office near mine so we could work together."

"I also have some good news for you." He grabs my hand and pulls me from my office into his.

"Garrett is of course in charge of the illegal bullshit, but I know you and I know you're capable. You know stuff about art and you know more than you care to admit. I want you doing the corporate work with the museums and buyers."

"You want me doing corporate work?" I laugh slightly and he nods before handing me a folder.

"You want me to sell the paintings and obtain a steady cash flow for the pack?" I ask again in shock and he nods. "You're not joking are you?" I mumble as I flip through photos and selling prices of some art pieces.

"I figure we put Garrett to work and be your assistant and bodyguard. He won't be in danger and we will be making a more honest living for the time being."

"You mean until I sell all the art we have?"

"Precisely."

"You really want me doing this? You think I can do this? Are you sure you?"

"I wouldn't trust anyone else to do it."

Wow this might be the most brilliant plan or it might be the shittiest shit show known to wolf.

"Unless you rather deal with pack business involving treaties and new members."

"I think I'll take the art work and Garrett." I close the folder before holding it close to my chest and walking into my office. I shut the door and I let out a small squeal which gets cut off by the sound of my landline ringing.

"I left my debit card on your desk so you can order whatever clothes you want for your new job."

"Did I ever tell you that you spoil me too much."

"No because it's not spoiling, it's treating you like the Luna you are. I have a phone conference with some packs, so I'll come get you for dinner once that's over." He hangs up the phone and I'm left with my laptop and a need for a spending spree.
