"This piece is worth more than 1.3 million and we both know that. I am offering you a fair 1.9 million for a sculpture that shouldn't be let go for less than 2.5, but because we do business frequently, I'm willing to let it go. I simply do not have enough room or patience to make space for such a large sculpture. Ultimately the decision is yours, but I have other clients to tend to. Ones who are ready to close deals and sign checks."

I've gotten ruthless over the past few weeks since agreeing to run this end of the pack. Sold many paintings that of course didn't belong to me in the first place and sold enough sculptures to fill Versailles.

"You have a deal. I'll have my people contact you about the delivery." I watch as Mr. Prient signs his check and places his pen down. "You sure do know how to convince a man."

"I'm sure my fiancé would agree." I take the check from his hands before placing it in my wallet.

"You have my card, don't hesitate to call with any questions regarding your other pieces and future ones for that matter. It was a pleasure doing business with you." I shake his hand once more before placing all of my belongings back into my purse and heading to the elevator.

Every week or so Garrett and I take the journey to the city and by journey I mean either a ten hour drive to Seattle or the less than an hour drive to Calgary.

Thankfully this was a quick trip to Calgary and we are on our way back.

"You know I never really liked you but you're incredible at this." Garrett hands me back the check for 1.9 million and I smile.

"I have to say, I am quite the bargainer. I know how these men work. It's a pride thing to have certain art pieces. As for the women, they want to compete with what the other women have and if Susan from the country club has a piece of art work from a certain artist, then they want one as well. It's not rocket science.

"I watched you convince that man to buy a sculpture that we only spent half a million on." He adds and I nod before placing my belongings inside my large purse. "And you aren't even phased." I continue to type away on my phone and I look up to make eye contact with him.

"Because we do this every week or so. It's the same thing every week Garrett. We travel and then you party to celebrate while I punch numbers, finalize paperwork and then move onto the next sale." I watch as we finally pull into the driveway and I place my phone in my purse before heading inside.

On my way to my office I pass Bash's office that has a few men inside and I stop to take a better look.

"Jenifer, come in." He calls and I smile at the unfamiliar faces that are now staring at me. "Jenifer meet Zachary, Thomas, and Daniel."

"Very nice to meet you." I wave before turning back to the biggest paint in my ass. "Bastian, I have to put this paperwork into the computer, but dinner is at your parents tonight, don't forget."

"Wait this our Luna, when were you gonna tell us." One of the guys laughs and I give Bash the same confused look.

"Yeah, why haven't you told them." I tease. "I can make time for this."

"These are three of our top ranked warriors sweetheart and we were having a meeting to discuss protection of the pack and of you when you go on these business trips with Garrett. I was just getting to why your safety is so important to me." He motions for me to take a spot next to him and I do so before placing my purse on his desk and taking a good look at the men in front of me.

"When were you gonna tell me Hudson and Logan had a brother?" I ask while motioning to Thomas who is most definitely related to the twins.

"Because I forget you don't already know these things. Thomas is their younger brother who also happens to be great at fighting. I knew all those years of being beat up by Logan would pay off."

"Well like I said, it's a pleasure meeting you all, but I really have to make sure some paperwork is done."

"The ugly red sculpture is sold." I whisper in Bash's ear before squeezing his hand and exiting the room and into my office next door.

For the next two hours I sit in my office typing and doing the math necessary to decide price points for the next art pieces I'll be selling. That's until Sebastian finally comes knocking.

"I'm sorry for taking so long and for being busy when you got back. Wanna talk about today?" He asks before shutting the door and taking a seat on the edge of my desk.

"Other than selling the red sculpture it's been quite boring. I'm trying to find a reasonable price point for the ugly ass painting of a tree and also find a buyer for the sunflower sculpture. Not to mention I've been trying to type out this months income and also calculate the amount the pack spends monthly."

"I think you need to relax Jen." He grabs the pen from my hand and places it down against my papers. "You've done so much for the pack and I couldn't be happier, but it's time for a break. Come on." He grabs my heels in one hand before grabbing my purse and my hand. "No, you're going upstairs come on." He pulls me behind him and when we get to our room he sits me down and grabs my some sweatpants.

"Dinner at my parents is casual. Like pajama casual and you know that, so don't even protest." He stops me and I smile. "Do you wanna tell me why you're working so hard lately?"

"Because I don't like feeling useless and because I feel a need to make up for the fact that the council and this pack aren't on speaking terms. I just want to make up for what I caused." I shrug before taking off my top and pulling on a white tank top.

"Can we establish for a quick second that you did nothing wrong. You were violated by someone the elders hired to fuck with my pack... Our pack. They caused this rift, not you. You  are doing so much for the pack and everyone knows that. You're incredible."

"Let's just go to dinner." I pull off my skirt and I grab my sweatpants before walking into the closet and grabbing the one thing Bash forgot.

My cardigan.

"It's cold Sebastian." I remind him and he smiles before draping an arm over me. "Also my tits are popping from this shirt."

"Yeah, but I like your tits."

"Well maybe if you stopped talking about them I'd let you touch them later." I run my hand down his chest and he proceeds to push me against the door.

"Do you not know how hard it is to keep my wolf in check?" He whispers and I nod.

"Maybe if you'd let the witch run the tests with Piper we could fully mate and you wouldn't have to keep your wolf in check." I push him back off of me and I start the walk to his parents house.

As much as this affects him and has him wanting more, it affects me just as much. Doesn't he know that I have needs too?

"Baby please wait for me." He calls and I cross my arms over my chest in defiance but that doesn't stop me from crying like a child. He pulls me into his chest and lets me cry. "I know. I know."

"I've gone through heat so many times and it's no longer the pain it's the aggravation that I sleep over your parents house to avoid having sex with you once a month. Why can't you just let me be tested? Why wont you get tested?"

"I don't know Jenifer. I don't know."

"Well figure out because it's been two months since the witch offered to run tests with Piper and everyone agrees we should get answers. Don't you want an answer."

"No I don't want answers." He admits.

"I don't want answers, because I have a bad feeling that I won't like the conclusion we come to."
