I woke up and felt Noah's arms around me. I looked up to see him peacefully sleeping. I tried to move but our legs were draped around each other. I looked up to see if he was awake from my sudden movement but he was still asleep.
I couldn't help but stare at his nicely chiselled face. His black hair fell on his face covering his eyes. I reached over and raked my fingers through it, pushing it back. I couldn't help but trace my fingers gently right above where his beard started. All those feeling I had pushed back for years came rushing back. I was falling for him all over again.
I felt him move and held me tighter. He opened his eyes for a split second then went back to sleep. I tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge again.
"Noah" I whispered. He didn't even move. "Noah" I whispered a bit louder.
"Mhhm" He mumbles then nuzzle into my neck.
I felt his warm breath hit against my neck sending butterflies in my stomach. Why am I feeling this way!
"Noah, wake up," I whispered again.
"Shhh, It's early. Go back to bed babe." I hear his raspy voice say from my neck.
"I have to get ready for work. Get up your killing me here." I say.
"Just stay." He mumbles.
"Noah I have to go," I whispered. Deep down I wanted to stay in bed all day like this. But I knew it was wrong.
He lifts his head up and looks at me for a second then backs away, letting go of me.
"Sorry." He looks down.
"Its fine, I-I gotta go," I say, getting up and into the washroom.
I mentally slap myself remembering last night. I felt my cheeks burn up. I turned the shower on and stripped out of my clothes and got in.
*six hours later*
I got to work hours ago and finished about three meetings with other publishers. Gave out the book reports for the employees. It was time for me to go home.
I walked out of my office and to Summers desk. "Summer, I'm done for today let me know if you hear back from S Enterprises." I smile.
"Of course. Also, Mr. Shah called earlier he said to meet him at Riles." She smiles
"Okay. Take care Summer." I nod before heading into the elevator.
***I got to Riles and parked my car in the parking lot. I walked in and spotted Noah sitting at a table with Ava. Whom I totally forgot about. I walked over to where they were sitting and sat beside Noah.
