Dilara

7 months later

"If you would've done it properly, this wouldn't have happened Noah!" I say looking at the weird looking crib

"I followed the introduction! I think there a piece missing." He says looking around the room

"Or... you just can't follow instructions" I chuckled

"Hah! See I was right!" He takes the piece from underneath our bed

"Okay, and where does it go?" I asked resting my hand on my enormous baby bump.

"I'll figure that out in second." He lifts the paper with the instructions on it

Noah and I have been decorating the babies room and setting the crib in our room. Some of these expecting parents put their cribs in the babies room won't use it cause they'll just lay their baby on their bed. Growing up with my siblings and from what my mother had taught me that wasn't a good idea. Also very dangerous.

I'm about 9 months along, I'm due in about two weeks. Kind of scared but excited to finally meet our baby boy after such a long wait. My belly just kept growing and growing I already know we're gonna have a chunky baby, which was okay for me.

"Okay, I'm gonna go and-" I stopped when the sharp pain hit my lower area.

"Lara is okay?" Noah quickly got up and held onto me

"Its probably just-" I felt water drip down my legs

"Lara, you're going into labour!" He excitedly says

"No, no I can't be, I'm not due for another two weeks," I say through the pain

"I read that it sometimes women go into labour a week even two weeks before their due date." He says and I look up at him raising my brow

"Yes I did my research, we need to get the bag." He says walking out of the room to get the bag from the babies room.

I quickly changed and made sure anything was neat.
"Are you serious! You're cleaning even now in this situation. We need to go." He says take my arm and walking towards the stairs. As soon as I took a step an even sharper pain hit me, I couldn't help but bend down screaming.

"I can't, I can't Noah. It hurts so bad. Maybe we can just have the baby here." I say through the pain

"Are you crazy, Lara you're the strongest person I kn-"

"Shushhhh, you did this to me," I yell through the pain.

"Okay that's enough, hold the bag," He hands me the bag and then picks me up bridal style down the stairs and outside the door. He places me in the passenger seat and quickly gets into the driver seat.

***
When we reached the hospital they immediately brought me into the labour room, I was already dilated 9 cm in active labour.

"Okay breath, Dilara." The doctor says and I do

"Babe you can do this," Noah says holding my hand

"Come on I see him." The doctor says and I continue to push

Noah goes beside the doctor and looks "oh my God what is that?" He yells, he looked as if he'd faint

"That his head, keep pushing!"

"Noah! Stay by my head goddamnit!" I yell and he quickly rushes to my side holding my hand.

20 minutes later I hear my baby cry. They quickly placed him on my chest. I couldn't help but cry, finally seeing him.

"You did it," Noah says kissing my forehead.

6 hours later

I woke up from my nap, I got up to checked up on the baby. Noah had him on his chest both peacefully sleeping. I lay back down looking at them makes me so emotional. Never thought this day would come for us, we've both come along way from where we were just about a year ago. Like works in mysterious ways.

I slowly closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
