I remember the day I officially started my investigation, the day I went to see their faces for the first time. To civilians, they were but normal teenagers, youths that went about with part time jobs and happy lives partnered with the stresses of education yet still being laughing and loving carefree beings. But, nothing is as they seem on the surface. Even the most beautiful objects hide imperfections and flaws.

Jin sat at the window of the café, his gaze occasionally travelling from the beautiful milky art sitting on the top of his cappuccino to the group that sat at the largest table of the place, their laughter ringing every once so often, bringing a rather jolly aura to the place. He had gotten intel from a co-worker that they hung out at this specific café at least once a month and had managed to bring himself to the place almost every day, sitting and hoping that they would one day appear and they eventually did, after two whole weeks of careful observation. His senses were peaked, eyes trained on them with a sharpness like that of a hawk's. Long fingers grasped the warm cup in his hand, the vibrant red colour of it contrasting with the sandy brown of the coffee. His plush rosy lips touched the foam on the top as he sipped a little of his beverage, rolling his tongue to savour both the intricate bitter and sweet that created a beautiful blend of harmony.

The group seemed fairly normal, no suspicion whatsoever. Two men with a girl. One of them seemed older than the other, later confirmed when the other called him 'hyung'. Bleached white hair with monolid eyes that seemed to carry a sort of fierceness in them accompanied a fairly tall nose and small pursed lips. His frosty fair skin almost made him look albino and yet the coal darkness of his eyes told a different story. He had a sort of punk style going on with a ripped leather jacket, paired with a rolling stones t-shirt and ripped black denim jeans. Jin couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in interest.

The other man looked fairly innocent as well. Fluffy raven black hair as well as monolidded eyes, yet they seemed so different from the other. They held a softness in them as he smiled, cheeks puffing out and extremely plush lips lifting into an adorable grin. One of his front teeth seemed a little crooked and yet it only aimed to enhance the man's looks. Jin couldn't help but compare him to a baby. His outfit was stylish too, however, with an army green bomber jacket and long patched denim jeans. The sleeves of the jacket had words sewn on them. Though, from the angle he was sitting in, Jin couldn't quite make out what they were.

Jin's gaze moved to the girl now. His eyebrows furrowed, thoughts travelling back to the files. He had gotten notes that the older man was a planner and the younger was a negotiator but the girl had failed to make any appearance in the gang whatsoever. Her face seemed familiar, however, large eyes that gleamed along with a cute button nose and plush lips that always seemed to end up with a smile. Her skin was that of porcelain, smooth and fair and her hair fell right above her breasts, black and smooth, shining as it reflected the lights.

"Yoongs, you seriously have to listen to me when I tell you to take the trash out properly. I mean, the basement stinks." the girl scrunched her nose. Cute, Jin couldn't help but think but wiped the thought out almost immediately.

The older man gave her a defying look, head lifting as his gaze darted towards hers. His elbow rested casually on the table, beside a hot cup of Americano, "I'm sorry it bothers you, boss," he replied, almost mockingly, "I'll take it out. Soon."

The girl did not seem to be amused, her eyes narrowing into little slits as she lifted an arm, smacking the man's bicep playfully and scoffing in return. The younger man chuckled incredulously, clapping in a seal-like fashion as his hair bobbed up and down along with his head, "Dream, you should just ask Taehyung to snipe him. That should teach him a lesson."

Kim Taehyung. The sniper. That was where I saw her. Jin closed his eyes, taking a gulp of the coffee and feeling the caffeine course in his body as recognition devoured him, the image of Taehyung and the girl instantly filling his head. Kim Deu Rim. Taehyung's girlfriend. She seemed innocent, however, and the police had come to the conclusion that she was merely a victim to all this, ignorant or unknowing to the group's activities and there as a display of the man's normal or private life. Nothing to be worried of.

"You guys always bring Tae into this," the girl groaned, pulling him out of his train of thought, "and shut up Yoongs. I'm serious. You too Jimin."

The two men gave out a loud sigh, as if sarcastically, and nodded their heads in unison.

Park Jimin. Min Yoongi. Kim Deu Rim. Jin nodded silently to himself, lips transforming into a faint smile as he closed his eyes to relax, finally managing to enjoy his coffee to the fullest.
