Chapter Thirty Six

CL wrapped her arms around the curly haired woman. Hyuna was initially shocked by the gesture but soon found herself returning the hug. E'dawn found himself pulled in to the embrace.

Soon the couple were in CL's office with four expectant women staring at them. They wanted to know where they had been these past months. But pressingly, why Rosé was not with them.

"She's with us but she's currently busy with something else," said E'dawn.

"With what?" asked Minzy. E'dawn shifted uncomfortably as the women stared at him. Hyuna grabbed his hand.

"She knows that YG is out to kill Blackpink. She found out where the girls hideout is and wanted to go check herself," said Hyuna.

"The girls are under protection, she doesn't need to worry about that," said CL.

"Maybe she just wanted to see them," said E'dawn. He thought back to the nights they had to soothe Rosé to sleep after some heavy bouts of nightmares. Most often she'd call out Jennie's name.

CL understood what the couple was saying but her need to see Rosé was far more pressing. 2NE1 missed the girl and quite honestly they thought she needed a break from all of this.

Bom urged Hyuna to continuing explaining where they had been and what they were doing. 2NE1 listened without any more interruptions. They needed to know how they could help in any way.

Chae watched from a far as Jisoo entered the small house. She had giggled at the choice of hideout by the girls. It was bold and clever. Her jean tugged near her left foot and she saw a small black puppy biting her. The dog nuzzled its teeth in to her leg and Chae tried to shove it away.

It didn't budge and picking it up she gazed in to deep eyes. It began to yelp. She rubbed its back to make it stop. It settled in to her arms and nuzzled its nose against her. Looking around she tried to see where it came from.

The streets were empty and most of the homes were gated. She heard a car pull up and saw that it was Jennie. Ducking away, she asked the puppy to be quiet. Obediently the dog kept still and Chae was able to watch Jennie head inside.

Her heart bounced as the brunette meshed her fingers through her hair before closing the door. She slid down the wall and tried to tame an overwhelming urge to just run in the house and hold on to the woman.

The puppy felt the change in energy and began to lick her hand. She rubbed its head with her finger as she thought. Deciding to take the risk, Chae asked the puppy if it was willing to wait with her until it was a little darker.

Cass and Hayoon were parked a few houses away from Blackpink's place and saw Jennie enter the home. They had yet to decide when would be the best time to take the girls and for now were under the orders to just watch their movements.

They needed to understand the girls' daily routine and who they were seeing before they could make their move. It was boring but necessary. Hayoon scratched in to the takeaway bag and handed Cass a cheeseburger. They ate and waited for their shift to be over.

The puppy yelped quietly as it saw movement at the door. Chae's eyes fluttered open and she saw Jisoo and Lisa get in to a car. The couple drove off but there were still some lights on in the house. She got up slowly and made her way across the streets.

Cass started the car and they followed Jisoo and Lisa. They would swop shifts with Clyde and Jungwook at the location the girls were heading to. Yuta and Jaehyun followed the tailing car at a safe distance. They needed to make sure that nothing happened to the Blackpink couple.

Blinking, Jinwoo thought that he'd seen a shadow head in to the back yard of Blackpink's hideout. He asked if G Soul had seen that but his partner shook his head. Placing it all in his imagination he reached for the bottle of water and drank gingerly.

Chae picked the lock and let herself in. Looking around she saw that the living room was empty. Moving quietly she made her way in to the kitchen. There was no one and the puppy whimpered. She saw a bedroom door was open but the lights were off.

The puppy turned its head and following its movement she saw that a door was closed but a light was on inside. She huffed her cheeks in anticipation. Turning the knob slowly she and the puppy peaked inside.

Jennie's back was facing the door and hearing the clipping sound appeared to be cutting her nails. Chae just stared at her but the puppy began to bark. The brunette's head whipped immediately and was shocked still.

Chae entered the room and placing the puppy on the floor gave the brunette an impish smile. Jennie wondered if she was dreaming because the face before her was the one she'd been reaching for each night without ever touching it.

Making her way to the brunette, Chae gave a small hello. Jennie's voice hitched at the sound and lunged in to the younger girl's arms. They clung to each other and Chae placed continuous kisses on Jennie's head.

The older woman moved back and made sure this was in fact Chae. Her hair was a light pink now but other than that it was the same face she'd discovered she fell in love with. Sliding on to the bed they just held on to each other.

Chae got up but Jennie refused to let her go. The pink haired girl allowed her to hang on.

"Where's the bathroom Jen?"

"I'll come with you," she said. If this was a dream she didn't want it to end. She couldn't let it end. Chae nodded and held Jennie's hand as they made their way out.

While Chae was in the bathroom. Jennie saw that the puppy had snuggled itself up on to living room floor. She moved to the kitchen and poured some milk in to a small bowl. Placing it next to the snoring dog, she heard Chae behind her.

They returned to the room and Chae closed the door while giving a quick glance at the dog. She smiled at him and hoped he got some rest.

"I don't know where that dog came from but he's really cute," she gave Jennie a small smile as she knelt before her.

The brunette grabbed on to Chae's face and moved her fingers around it. It seemed to the younger woman Jennie didn't believe she was there. She didn't blame her and allowed the brunette to do whatever she needed.

Jennie traced Chae's lips with a finger and the feel of them made her bite her own. Chae's heart beat rapidly at the familiar sight and their eyes met searchingly. Jennie fell back on to the bed as Chae moved in between her legs.

The pink haired girl kissed her without any rush. Her lips felt more delicate than before and Jennie was enjoying the change. Chae gave her a peck before stopping to regain their breath. She lay on top of the brunette as it was her turn to trace her face.

Jennie looked so beautiful and Chae promised herself that the next time they made love she would take her time. She would be patient in learning what pleased the older woman while learning the lines of her body.

She'd really listen to each sudden gasp Jennie would elicit and force the spots she'd touch in to her memory. Chae promised herself to show the brunette how much she loved her. She stared quietly.

Jennie's eyes turned dark at the way Chae was looking at her. Drifting her fingers around her neck, she pulled the younger woman towards her. They kissed gently and forgot any worries. Wrapping her arms tightly around the brunette, Chae laid down on to the bed. They held each other softly as their eyes drifted close.
