Make Up My Mind

Part 6

I woke up to it being almost being sunset. I checked my phone to look at the time. It was 4:45. I sprung out of bed and grabbed my stuff. I start walking down the stairs. I see Daniel and Anna at the island in the kitchen. 

Daniel: Where you headed off to? 

Mia: I gotta get home. My mom is gonna be home in like an hour 

Anna: You have like 45 minutes to chill. Daniel's making dinner 

Mia: Where's your parents?

Anna: Mom works from 5am-7pm. Dad works from 12pm-10pm. 

Mia: Daniel.. when did we get here? 

Daniel: At like 12:15

Mia: Oh. What ya making? 

Daniel: Mac and Cheese. Anna wanted it 

Anna: I gotta satisfy my cravings

Mia: I mean I guess I'll stay 

Daniel: Great 

I sit all my stuff down and sit next to Anna. Daniel puts a scoop of Mac and Cheese and sets in down in front of me. Anna groans at her phone in anger. 

Daniel: What's wrong 

Anna: These colleges are sending me emails non stop. I'm only a junior! I'm not ready yet. Mia, do you know what college you wanna go?

Mia: Uh, not really. I just moved here so I don't know

Daniel: The boys and I all want to go to the same college but we all have different GPA's so we have no clue who's going to get accepted or not. 

Mia: What college? 

Daniel: New York University 

Mia: That's far 

Anna: Corbyn wants to really get accepted into NYU because of Christina 

Mia: Is she going there? 

Daniel: We don't know yet 

Mia: I might wanna go to the university my brother is at 

Anna: Where's that? 

Mia: Ohio 

Daniel: Really? That's where you lived. 

Mia: Yeah. The campus is pretty

Daniel: Well, I'll give you an option. You can go to Ohio University or NYU with me and the boys 

Mia: Wow, only two options 

Anna: It's only a 8 hour drive 

Daniel and I both look at her weirdly. She shows us her phone. 

Anna: I googled it 

Mia: Oh, I think I need to get home. Wanna drive me Daniel? 

Daniel: Sure. Be back home soon Anna.

Anna: Okay. See you tomorrow Mia 

Mia: Bye

Daniel and I walk out to the car and he drives me home. Before I get out of the car, Daniel pulls on my arm. 

Daniel: Mia..wait

Mia: What?

Daniel: I need to tell you something 

Mia: What is it? 

Before Daniel says anything, he pulls me in and we kiss. It felts like sparks flying. We both pull both back.
