"You told the girls?" Fred questioned as we walked hand in hand to an abandoned classroom the guys and I found in our second year.

"Yep." I nodded. "Did you tell the guys?"

"Yep." Fred smiled down at me, capturing my lips in a kiss.

We let our hands fall to our sides as we approached the room, pushing the door open to find George, Lee, Angelina, Alicia, and Katie sitting on top of old desks and making small talk.

"So what's this about?" Katie asked, kicking her legs back and forth from where they hung off the desk.

"I'd just like to start with something quick." I looked around at everyone. "We're all idiots."

"You wound me, Scar," Alicia gasped dramatically, holding her hand over her chest. "But you're quite right."

We all laughed in agreement, but everyone quickly settled down to rest their attention back on me.

"As everyone in this room knows, I've fancied Fred for quite sometime now." Everyone's eyes widened as Fred grabbed my hand, giving it a small squeeze. "And that fact took way longer than it should've to get to Fred."

Angelina and George bowed their heads in shame as they knew we were referring to the whole jealousy fiasco.

"But we'd just like to say sorry for our part in all this drama," Fred piped in. "And we're not mad at anyone."

"George, Angelina, you two should probably talk soon," I winked at them as they both turned beet red and avoided eye contact.

"So why are we here?" Alicia asked, referring to herself, Lee, and Katie.

"Because we'd also like to say that we're sorry we pushed this for so long that it started to effect our friendships," I sighed, smiling sheepishly at them. "We've missed you guys."

Everyone awed and moved forward until we were in a group hug.

"So are you two, like, dating?" Lee questioned, pointing at Fred and I.

I felt the blood rush to my face as I looked up at Fred to see him already looking down at me.

"Yeah..yeah I guess we are." Fred wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me into his side.

"It's about fucking time," Lee groaned.

"Lee Jordan! There is a child present!" Alicia scolded, slapping his arm and indicating over to a scowling Katie.

I laughed for what felt like the first time in forever as our little group sat around the fire in the Common Room catching up and joking around.

Lee and Alicia were cuddled up on one couch, Fred and I on another, and to everyone's surprise, so were George and Angelina. Katie sat in a chair to herself and I made a mental note to ask her if she was okay later.

"Okay, okay, so you mean to tell me that Sirius Black is your dad?" Alicia questioned after I confirmed Lee's question as to whether or not the newest headline was correct.

"Yeah it's kind of a long story..." I realized they were all waiting for me to continue and sighed. "Okay I guess I'm telling the story."

Fred took my hand and squeezed it to let me know it was okay. I didn't really have a problem telling the story, but I didn't want any of my friends to think of me differently.

"So basically Harry's parents were friends with my parents while in Hogwarts and were so close that when they found out You Know Who was after them they used some weird spell to where only one person knew their whereabouts and nobody could find them unless that one person told somebody." I paused to catch my breath, slightly overwhelmed as everyone stared at me. "To nobody's surprise they chose my Dad, and that's where everyone gets confused. It was believed that my Dad sold them out to You Know Who and went and killed a bunch of people out of anger for his 'lord' falling. But that's not true. My Mum had him change what they call the Secret Keeper to a bloke named Peter Pettigrew, and he was the one that sold the Potters' out. My Dad was angry at him and went to get revenge, but Peter framed him and killed 12 muggles."

"Wow," Angelina muttered.

"Do you know where he is now?" George asked.

"He's with my Mum — please don't tell anyone I just said that!" I quickly added as I slapped a hand over my mouth. I let out a sigh of relief as everyone nodded.

"Why is it that our Mum hates him so much?" Fred questioned.

"From what my Mum told me, it's because she thinks he sold out her family. Really though it was Peter that sold them out and got your Mum's siblings killed. So she blames my Dad..." I explained, waving off their apologetic looks.

"How about we focus on the happy things?" I suggested. "Fred and I are finally together, Lee and Alicia are going strong, and have you two worked things out?" I pointed at Angelina and George.

They both blushed and shrugged. "Yeah kind of."

"Yeah shut up, you're dating," I said and then turned to Katie. "What about that bloke you were talking about that you met over the summer."

"We talked for a—"

"Aw good, I'm happy for you Katie." I glanced down at Fred's hand on my thigh and noticed on his watch that it was getting late. "We should really be heading to bed."

We all said our good nights, Fred giving me a lingering goodnight kiss.

"Hey, you know I'm really sorry about everything that's happened," Angelina whispered as we made our way up the stairs.

"It's fine, Ange, all's forgiven," I smiled. "How are you and George now?"

"He invited me to the next Hogsmeade trip," Angelina blushed, hiding her face in her hands.

"Aw, we need to have a double date sometime," I said, more as a statement than a suggestion. Angelina agreed nonetheless.

We all got situated in our beds, turning off the lights and saying our final good nights.

I closed my eyes, going over everything that had happened with Fred and I. We were actually dating now...

Fred Weasley is my boyfriend. The boy I have been crushing on since forever, is my boyfriend.

So I've been foreshadowing something for awhile now and I just slapped one in here if you guys noticed it....
I won't say what it is cause no spoilers. But it's kind of a minor plot twist.
Anyway! Scarlett and Fred are officially together!
That's exciting! It's happening!
I said, like, months ago that they'd get together soon and it took me up until Chapter 36....
Oof.
Well I hope you're all having a good day so far, even though it's like six in the morning or something for me when I'm uploading this. Yes I pre-wrote this, leave me alone. It's only the night before XD
