Encyclopedia Entry

This Flutterly is a type of small songbird found throughout Peterra. It has evolved into many different species over the past several million years, and now exists in most places on the planet. It has also managed to spread to outlying worlds, and colonise them. This adaptable little bird eats seeds, small nuts, insects and worms. It prefers to build its nests in trees, but can make do with building them in rock crevices or abandoned buildings. Each species has developed its own unique song, which it uses to find a mate, communicate with its neighbours and warn about danger.

Striped Flutterlies are named such after the striped pattern on their feathers. This Flutterly also makes its nests on or close to the ground, similar to other species it is closely related to.
