Acquisition
Woodland Pufflion were first released as a Stray only obtainable by using a Yellow Incense or Yellow Golden Incense. They can be bred or purchased from other players.
Breeding
Breeding a pair of Woodland Pufflion requires 1 green stone. They have 1-3 babies per litter and require 9 days to gestate. The gestation period can be lowered to 5 days by using pregnancy potions. They can not be used to breed any hybrids at this time.
Encyclopedia Entry
The Pufflion is a small creature of which there are many species. Pufflions live in medium to large social groups, where they work together and feed on seeds, fruits, nuts and insects. These creatures' evolutionary lineage is not known, but they appear similar to tiny cats in many ways except with a large puffball growing from their foreheads. The puffball is almost entirely weightless. Pufflions use them to express their emotions to each other, and it is important socially. A curled-up puffball can mean fear or submission, a drooping one can mean sadness, a perked up one can mean happiness, and so on.
Woodland Pufflions live entirely in the deep understory of Missoulou's densest forests, which are often so dense that little to no sunlight can penetrate to the forest floor. Here, these Pufflions live in close knit colonies and forage on the forest floor for insects and seeds.
