Courtney's P.O.V
Its about to be five years since i had Madelynne and things have been tough. Mason and I are trying our best to be good parents and to give our daughter a great life but i feel like we're failing. The bills are piling up and Maddie is still young and needs more things each day. My parents don't have a clue about whats going on and i want to ask them for help but Mason wants to do things his way. When she was first born everything was great Mason worked and my parents helped by giving us money to buy the baby everything she needed. They also helped out with babysitting so that way i could find a job. After a few years Mason and i had a good income on money and didn't need my parents help anymore. Mason got fired so he has to bring her to school in the mornings and watch her at night while i work double shifts.
"Mommy's home Maddie". I called out
"Daddy look it mommy". She yelled running towards me. No matter how tired i am my baby always brings a smile to face
"I love you mommy. I don't want you to leave anymore". She said and it broke my heart
"I love you Maddie but i have to leave that way i can make money so you can celebrate your fifth birthday. How would you like to visit the baby and your grandparents". I said picking her up and spinning around.
"Can we get in the pool mommy". Madelynn asks an i tell her yes
"Are you coming with us tomorrow or not". I asked Mason
"Why would i go, so your parents can see how much of a failure I am. To see that i cant take care of my family". He said yelling slightly. I then sent Maddie to her room so she wouldn't hear her parents arguing.
"I've never called you a failure and neither has my parents. Mason I'm tired of living like this, i work 24 hours and barely make enough money to make ends meet. I would love to be home all day with our daughter but i cant because someone needs to work. I've been in love with you Mason since we were little kids but if you don't get your act together I'm taking Maddie and we're leaving. Don't bother coming upstairs to our bedroom, you can lay in the living room." I said and before I went upstairs I was spun around by Mason who was holding my arms pretty tightly.
"Ow Mason you're hurting me" I cried
"Don't you dare walk away from me! You are not leaving me! She's my daughter too and if you so as much take her away from me I won't hesitate to go to court! I love you and our daughter! Please just don't take her away from me. I can't lose you two!" Mason yelled with tear streaming down his face. I yanked my arms away and looked at mason.
"I love you too Mason but in case you haven't noticed I'm the only one working! I cant do this alone!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.
"I know and I'm sorry! I'll try and find a job just please don't leave!" Mason yelled
"Then don't give me a reason too! Do you have any idea how I feel?! I feel like my dad did! My dad Louis practically raised my brother and I on his own for seven years! I feel like I'm a single parent to Madelynne and I hate that!" I yelled
"Were going to my dads house tomorrow and your welcome to come and visit anytime you want. I'm gonna tell them that i need help because our daughter doesn't deserve to live this life. She deserves everything she wants and I'm trying my best to make it happen but i can't do it alone. Do what you need to do so that she can have both parents in her life". I said walking upstairs wiping my tears away

The past five years have been wonderful and actually its been flying by pretty fast. One minutes I'm packing for college and the next minutes I'm taking over my families business. Ethan and i are doing great and we've been talking about marriage and starting a family. Well we started a family already I'm 8 months pregnant and were expecting a baby boy. I know Ethan is gonna be a great dad from how he acts around Mia and Maddie. That guy has stuck around me through everything. From nervous breakdowns, crazy mood swings like kicking him out the house and crying for no reason, to just being there helping me with work. I know he's the one for me and I'm glad were still together
