why did you call me darlin'?
Why'd you make me have butterflies,
swirling around my insides
If you didn't want me,
why did you look at me with those intense eyes,
every time we kissed.
Why'd you touch me with velvet hands?
If you didn't want me,
why did you squeeze my hand,
when I told you I wasn't leaving,
Why did you play pretend?
If you didn't want me,
you could have told me
instead of breaking my heart,
again.
