Message

Notifications sounded as I open my messenger to see what B was referring to when she asked me to look at her messages.

Office na ako B

Late na naman ako buti na lang wala pa boss ko. Kaso may nagpunta na client at may nagmagaling dito.

Ano bang gusto nyang gawin ko? May ginagawa pa nga akong project may papasingit na naman sya. Tapos ngayon, hahanapin yung unang project. Hindi ba nya alam na marami akong ginagawa? Bakit di nya pagawa dun sa isa?

I read the messages and took a deep breath. B's frustrated that's for sure.

I then composed my reply.

Ano na namang ginagawa nung isa?

Chill B. Hinga ng malalim. Talk to your boss and ask what he wants you to prioritize. Tell him kung anu yung urgent and let him decide what he wants and then let him know what's possible and not. Kaya mo yan!

The messenger said she's typing so I waited while I unwrap my sandwich.

Nakakaiinis kasi dahil siya isa lang project then ako andaming nakalagay sa board ko.

She sent a photo of her 'To-Do-List' written on a whiteboard.

Mukang andami mo ngang task. Since senior ka naman why not delegate?

Eh yung boss dapat namin ang gagawa kasi baka may masabi yung isa.

Maybe you can open it up sa boss mo so he can delegate. Minsan madami silang iniisip kaya nakakalimutan.

And she continued her rant in messenger.

Yaan mo na B. Labas na lang tayo mamaya to make you feel better. Let's eat sa favorite restaurant mo. We'll eat comfort food.

Naiinis lang kasi ako.

It's okay. Uwi ako agad, so sunduin kita sa office nyo?

Wag na magkita na lang tayo sa bahay.

Are you sure, okay lang sa aking sunduin ka.

Sa bahay na lang.

Okay, cge may class na ako.

I smiled as I put my phone down. I looked at my watch, time to continue my class. I stood up and greeted my class, "How was your lunch?"

One of my trainees said, "Life-changing!" And we all laughed.

"Mukang lumablife ka ahhh?! Di mo naubos sandwich mo." Said by another trainee.

I just smiled and said, "Later, on our next break na lang."

And so I continued our discussion.

The class went smoothly, so I dismissed my class for them to get their last break, giving them an extra 5 minutes.

I immediately sat in front of my laptop so I can finish my report and just proofread it later before sending it.

I munched in the remaining piece of my sandwich when one of my trainees suddenly put a drink on my table.

"Better yan with your favorite iced drink!" She said smiling.

I smiled back and thanked her.
