Natalia's POV

"Watch it asshole!" I shouted, shaking my head. The driver gives me a dirty look before speeding ahead. The things people do for parking. Could this day be any more hectic? Let me rewind a bit. You see, last week, the head of the FBI called me. He offered me a job. I immediately said yes without waiting for him to explain it to me. I was desperate. My life became pretty boring after I graduated from the Academy in Quantico. All I did was go to college, study, eat, sleep, and repeat. But when he did explain what I had to do, I was shocked. No that's not the right word to use in the twenty-first century. I was shook. Okay I'll stop. Ugh, Natalia you need to do better. The FBI head had heard of my excellent work in the academy and wanted to give me a very important task. To protect Neymar Jr. Yes, the Neymar Jr. The footballer. Of course I agreed, I mean who wouldn't. I dare you to say you wouldn't. Ha. Told ya. That brings me to now. I was at the LAX airport to pick him up. But he just had to arrive on the busiest day. When there was absolutely no parking. Anyway, I finally found a parking spot in the shade of the towering building.

I slammed the door to my dark grey jeep Rubicon and headed into the cool air conditioned airport. Navigating my way through the familiar airport, I found myself in the private terminal. Reserved for private jets and airlines. I flashed the attendant my ID card and made my way out onto the tarmac. That's when I realized that it really was a hot day in LA. Changing my mind, I went back into the cool building. I sat in the uncomfortable chair, deciding that I would wait for him inside instead of burning in the sweltering heat.

Soon enough, I heard footsteps echoing in the empty tunnel. A smile made its way onto my face as I heard a conversation in rapid Portuguese and I couldn't help but fell a little excited. I loved meeting new people. That's why I traveled all over the world. I wish that could be my job. I stood up as the door was pushed open, revealing a tall, skinny man in a suit with sunglasses on. I mentally rolled my eyes at his appearance. Too stereotypical for me. "Rousseau," he greeted, nodding his head stoically at me. I couldn't help but actually roll my eyes. "Don't you think this is getting a little old, Williams," I sighed. He let out a noise that seemed like a strangled scoff. If you haven't realized, we aren't very good friends. But that's a story for another time.

My eyes finally made contact with hazel ones. Neymar watched us curiously, his eyes darting back and forth between us. I smiled at him, extending my hand. He stared at it for a second before shaking it. I forgot that Americans can be let's say, too friendly sometimes.

"I'm Natalia. Nice to meet you," I said, trying to make him feel more at ease. "Neymar, nice to meet you too," he replied in English."Lets get all your stuff into my car and then we can head to your "new home" okay?" I asked. "Sounds great," Neymar mumbled, seeming slightly out of it. "See ya later," I said, smirking at Williams before heading towards the parking lot.

---------------------

As we were driving my phone began ringing. I looked around making sure there were no cops. Especially since California had some new law that said you couldn't hold you're phone while driving. I hit accept and put it on speaker.

"Bonjour," a voice greeted.

"Uh, bonjour, qui est l'appareil?" Who is calling? From the corner of my eye I saw Neymar's attention focus on my sudden switch in languages.

"C'est Thomas." It's Thomas.

"Have you picked him up?"

"Yes, he's here. Would you like to speak to him?"Neymar turned to look at me, his eyes wide. He shook his head frantically, making cutting motions with his hands.

"Not right now, I have to head to a meeting. I just wanted to make sure."

"Alrighty then, au revoir," I said, ending the call.

"What was that about?" I asked, confused. He remained silent, watching the scenery whiz past the window. I felt myself getting a little agitated from his attitude.

"Here we are," I said, pulling up to a huge house.

Neymar stared up at it as he got out of the car. I handed him the keys, watching his reaction. He opened the door and entered the house. I silently trailed after him.

"Do you like it?" I asked nervously.

"Eh," he shrugged, "It'll have to do."

Okay then, I thought.

"You can leave," he said, looking at me expectantly.

"Oh okay. Umm, do you need anything?" I asked, surprised by his abrupt change in mood.

"No I'm fine," he said bluntly.

"Ok, bye," I mumbled, pulling the door shut after me.

This was going to be a long three months.
