There was great deliberation among the judges as to who had won the second to last competition of this year's Grand Magic Games.

There were valid arguments for both sides.

But nobody could choose a victor.

And if nobody won... nobody lost, right?

Which meant that it was... a tie?

Was r?

That seemed like a cheap answer to the audience's question.

But what do you expect?! They were working with a time limit here!

So there they were.

Here was the answer.

Nobody had won.

So now all the viewers had to deal with the tie.

That was just great.

Now FRUSTRATING at all.

Nope.

Laxus hadn't raged and struck down a helpless bed with his lightning powers.

Minerva hadn't punched a wall.

Not at all.

The Fairy Tail and Sabertooth guild Master's weren't currently crying as they had the damage, and the cost, assessed.

Nope.

Everything was smiley, happy rainbows.

Just perfect.

Wendy looked over at her girlfriend with her best pout.

"Do we HAVE to go? Can't we tell him I'm tired from today?" Wendy asked, batting her eyes at her girlfriend in a level of adorableness that only Wendy and a select few could reach.

Chelia felt her resolve weaken at the expression.

But she forced herself to look away (no matter how cute that look was).

"No! I promised that we were going, so we're going! That's final!"

Wendy sighed in defeat as she looked at the pink haired girl's determined expression.

She didn't dare mess with her when she had that expression on.

She sighed and pulled on her shoes.

To be honest, all she wanted to do tonight was curl up beside her God Slayer and take a nap (or go to sleep really. A long, glorious twenty hour nap until tomorrow), but of corse Chelia had promised the reporter that they'd go to his party.

But it wasn't even a party.

It was just an excuse for him to ask some questions.

Who even knew what he'd ask.

If he really wanted to ask questions, then why would he talk to the two youngest Mages competing? That seems a odd, right?

Wendy didn't even know anymore though.

She was running on empty right now.

Well, she was being a bit dramatic about that, but that was NOT the point.

Chelia should be more understanding about her exhaustion.

She HAD just won that day's competition!

The last one before the final day of the Grand Magic Games.

She thought she deserved a bit of recognition for that.

(But Wendy was of course just moping. Chelia had lavished her in praise and adorable little hugs and kisses just a few minutes ago).
