Chapter 7

I snuck out the backdoor and began my journey of training. I had already learned the basics of fortnite, I just need to get better, maybe better than drift and that man combined.

My first stop was the legendary john wick and his team, the SSDT.

I rung the door bell and the door opened.

It was raptor.

"Y/n? Is it really you?" Raptor wrapped me in a tight hug, but I had no idea what was happening, or what he was talking about. I was lost.

"Umm... yeah, that's my name. How do you know me already?"

"Oh yeah! I forgot! Anyways what are you doing here?"

"Well I came to see John wick."

"Follow me." I went in the big mansion and followed raptor downstairs.

"Johny boy! Someone wants to see you."

John turned around from the computer and looked at me.

"So let me guess, you're here to be trained by me?"

"Uh- yes! How'd you know?"

"John knows everything." Raptor said.

"Alright I'll train you, but you have to leave tomorrow after the training."

"Okay!"

"We start tomorrow. That means get up early."

"Yes sir!"

"Alright raptor, show the kid to her room."

Raptor nodded and then motioned me to follow him.

As we were walking up the stairs, I decided to ask him about what he was talking about at the door.

"So umm, raptor what where you talking about at the door?"

I could tell raptor got a little sad from his body language.

"I'll tell you before you leave. Right now just focus on your training tomorrow."

"Ok."

We made it upstairs and we made it the room I was supposed to be sleeping in.

"Here we are. Get you some rest kid."

"Alright."

"Also your phone was buzzing like crazy. It said someone named drift was calling you?"

You gasp and snatched the phone from raptor's hand.

"GIMME THAT."

You answered the phone.

"Drift listen I'll call you back in a sec." You hung up the phone and then went into your room.

"Woah, who was that y/n? Boyfriend?"

You blushed at the thought of drift being called your boyfriend.

"No!"

"Y/n's got a boyfriend! Y/n's got a boyfriend!" Raptor yelled.

"Raptor shut the fuck up! I don't wanna hear that shit tonight!" John yelled.

"Sorry John!"

"Y/n's got a boyfriend! Y/n's got a boyfriend!" Raptor whispered.

"Okay raptor shut up! He's not my boyfriend! He's already got a girlfriend anyway."

"Oh. Well goodnight." Raptor walked to his room and closed the door.

You walked into your room and changed into something comfortable. You took off the hoodie you had on, leaving you in drift's shirt and you put on some pajama shorts you had in your backpack.

You called back drift and he answered.

"Hey drift!"

"Hey y/n! How are you?"

"I'm good what about you?"

"Ugh, it's been hell here. They treat everyone like shit."

"I can't imagine. How are you even surviving there?"

"I'm just used to it."

"Wait what? How are you already used to it? Who hurt you?"

"Don't worry about it y/n. Can we video chat? I'd love to see your face."

"Sure."

You switched it to camera mode and you saw drift's beautiful face.

Drift had paused.

"Uh y/n?"

"Yeah drift?"

"Is that my shirt?"

"Umm Uh..."

Drift chuckled.

"It's okay y/n."

It became an awkward silence. There had been nothing to talk about now.

"Well I just wanted to say goodnight y/n."

"Goodnight."

Drift hung up and you had a big smile on your face.
You finally got to talk to drift after all those days.

"Rise n' shine kid, come downstairs and eat breakfast, then I'll meet you outside. There's cereal on top of the refrigerator and some milk in the fridge."

"Okay."

I'd eaten breakfast and then I went outside to meet john and start training.

After editing and learning combat for about 3 hours it was time for me to go.

"Bye y/n." John said.

"By-". I had been cut off by a punch in the back from John.

"Ouch! What the hell was that for?"

"Always stay alert."

You nodded and then walked off.

As you walked off you blocked the punch from John.

"Good kid. Also raptor wanted me to give you his number. He said to call him if you need help and he'll call you tonight to tell.you something since he couldn't tell you now."

"Okay."

You walked away and a few hours later you had been by paradise.

"Hey! Hand over the backpack little girl!"

A voice from behind you had said.
