Summary- Hyuck goes into labor. They'd planned a natural home birth. But there's a surprise.

Hyuck was over due and exhausted. He was still small everywhere but his baby bump. He was so ready for the baby to be here.

At around 4 this morning he woke up having small contractions. They weren't too bad so he went back to sleep for a little bit. A while later he woke up with them much stronger than before

He looked at the clock seeing it was only 7. He sat up wincing a bit as his back was hurting and there was a lot of pressure in his hips. He got up a few minutes later to go to the bathroom. He got a contraction and stopped resting his hands on the bed breathing through the pain. Mark woke up and sat up looking at Hyuck.

"Contraction?" He mumbled still half asleep. Hyuck nodded still breathing through it. Mark got up walking over to hyuck

"How long have you been having them?" Mark spoke softly rubbing his back

"I woke up at 4 but they weren't bad so I went back to sleep. I woke up like 10 minutes ago and they'd gotten worse." Hyuck mumbled

"I'll text Mina. Where were you going?"

"To the bathroom"

Mark helped him to the bathroom and texted the midwife.

She got there at 9 after they had eaten breakfast. Mark had forgotten about practice until taeyong called him. Hyuck was with the midwife so he walked away answering.

"Hey hyung" mark mumbled

"Where are you? You're an hour late for practice"

"Oh shit sorry. I forgot about practice. I can't come."

"Why can't you come?"

"Well my child is going to be born today so I'm busy and Hyuck and our baby are more important than practice" Mark spoke

"You could've just started with that! I'll tell the manager. Bye" taeyong hung up

Mark shook his head and put his phone up going back to Hyuck and the midwife, Mina.

Mina seen mark and spoke "he's at a 5 his water broke when I was checking his cervix"

Mark nodded and laid beside Hyuck rubbing his back. Hyuck laid his head on mark closing his eyes

Contractions got stronger and Hyuck changed to different positions to get comfortable. Mark would rub his back or let him hold onto him for support. He was currently standing with his hands on the bed as he breathed through a contraction while mark rubbed his back.

He walked around the room for a while making things move a bit faster. Though it didn't seem to be moving fast at all.

Contractions were strong and close together but he was only at a 7 and he'd been in labor for almost 12 hours. He was tired and ready to be done. He decided to sit in the tub for a bit to try and relax but it wasn't helping with the pain. A strong contraction came and he groaned moving.

"Is it helping?" Mark asked rubbing Hyucks back as he sat on the side of the rub

"Nooo" Hyuck whined his head tilted back as he closed his eyes trying breathe through the pain

Mark sighed wishing he could do something.

"You want out?" Mark asked softly and Hyuck nodded. Mark helped him out drying him off taking him to the bed helping him lay down
