Legolas and I have been married for two months now, I feel as though something is going on with my body, I have an unusual appetite and Legolas had pointed out more than once that I often get pale on early mornings, maybe I should get a healer to check up on my condition.

I am with child!
Legolas knows nothing as of yet, he has been busy catching up with his good friend strider. I am a little jealous I admit, but at the end of the day I am his wife, and as he always says, none could ever compare. He is such a dear, I will try to tell him the news when I can.

I have finally told Legolas that I am with child, I told him over breakfast along with his father, needless to say the both of them made a mess when they spat out all that water, it was an amusing sight.

(Y/n) is on her third month, I have taken over writing in her journal, as I do not want her to strain herself with such a task, perhaps I should hire an elven scribe? I can already hear her getting angry and saying no, so I will not do that, instead I will personally write to show her my love.

(Y/n) asked for my cookies today, I was surprised.

(Y/n) has been unexplainably moody as of late, not wanting to do anything but read alone in the library, often times I hear her sing to our unborn child, she really does sing as if the heavens sing along with her.

My belly is starting to show, I had father bring me some of mother's old old maternity dresses, they smell just like her, I miss her. Legolas has been treating me better than he has before, because 'you're bearing my child, i have to give twice as much love and attention'

Legolas and me have returned to the cabin for a while, the healers said it is good for my health and a chance for me and Legolas to spend more time together, he insists on cooking, but I gently remind him that I'm pregnant and know what I need, he had no choice but to agree. He still makes me cookies though, they are not as bad as I had first thought.

I am now 5 months pregnant, Legolas amd me have a bet on what the baby's gender will be, I think it will be a boy, he wants it to be a girl, his little warrior princess, as he would say. I'm sure it'll be a boy.

Rejoice! It is a boy, I won our little bet, Legolas seemed a bit disheartened, but still excited to finally meet the little one. I am too. We have decided to name him Cúron, which translates to 'crescent moon' in the language of men.

(Y/n) is now 6 months into her pregnancy, she looks absolutely adorable with her pregnant belly, but she refused to believe me, I think this pregnancy glow is really making her look more beautiful day by day.

7 months in, I have been keeping close to (y/n) incase she needed something, she especially likes it when I feed her sweets, I do hope our child will not have a sweet tooth like his mother. Although her smile is irresistible, I must limit her sweets intake.

It's been 8 months, the whole of Greenwood is buzzing with excitement to finally meet the little one, Thranduil and my Ada have brought so many toys and have prepared themselves to dote on the baby, even going as far as creating a schedule on when they could take care of him. He's not here yet but he's already loved by many, he will grow up finely.

(Y/n) is about to give birth, I am nervous, but I am ready to be by her side.
