26: Way Back Home

I woke up to the same bright white lights piercing through my eyelids and when I looked to my right I saw Jennie's eyes filled with concern then I felt someone touching my left hand and I looked to my left and saw Nayeon with the same concern in her eyes.

"You should've called us when you're in trouble", she said and I nodded and said, "I wanted to but my head hurt really bad and I couldn't even reach for it."

"How long have I been out?", I asked Jennie and she said, "Around like a day."

Then suddenly out of nowhere I saw my brother Hyunjae and my best friend Kyungmi come in the room and my eyes widened and my eyes filled with tears and they saw how I was tearing up and they went to me and hugged me together then Hyunjae said, "I hope you still remember us."

"Why would I forget my idiot anti social brother", I said and he laughed as he looked at me with tears in his eyes and Kyungmi looked at me and said, "How about me?"

"And why would I forget you, I literally still hear your nagging even when you're not around", I said and she cried and I wiped away her tears then I saw the Seokjin guy go inside the room making me move back on the hospital bed and I said, "Get away from me."

"Don't you remember me?", The Seokjin guy asked and I shook my head then Hyunjae told me, "Don't worry Nara, he's with us."

I nodded and Jennie and Nayeon looked at me and said, "I guess you won't be hanging around us anymore, you found your family and you'll be going home now."

"Thank you for everything", I said as I hugged Jennie and Nayeon and I said, "I'll visit you guys don't worry, wait, I can be discharged now?"

They nodded and Jennie said, "I already told Kyungsoo that you found your family already."

Then I looked at the Seokjin guy and he was crying while looking at me and I said, "Why are you crying?"

He didn't respond and he just continued to cry even more and I said, "Come here."

He nodded and he sat on the side of my bed and I scooted closer to him and I cupped his cheeks then I wiped away his tears with my thumbs and I said, "Hey, I'm sorry if I don't remember you."

"It's ok it's not your fault if you don't remember", he said.

"Hey guys can I talk to him in private for a while, just for a little while", I said and they all nodded and left the room and when I heard the door close shut I looked at him again and said, "Hey stop crying."

He shook his head and I sighed and I removed my hands from his cheeks then I handed out my pinky and I said, "I promise I'll do my best to remember you but you have to promise me that you're gonna stop crying."

He wiped his tears even if they kept on flowing and he intertwined his pinky with mine and then I removed my pinky and I cupped his face again and then I kissed is forehead then he looked at me shocked and he miraculously stopped crying, "Now, is that better?"

He nodded and I hugged him and he hugged back then he started feeling even more familiar to me so I said to reassure him, "Here's one thing, you don't seem like a stranger to me, you seem like someone I loved when I still remembered you."

He released from the hug and he looked at me with widened eyes and he hugged me again but this time even tighter and I said, "Hey, hey, I can't breathe, the others are waiting, don't you want to take me back home?"

He released from the hug and nodded then I removed my dextrose and he helped me stand up and he put on my shoes for me.

What a gentleman then he walked with me outside the door and then there I saw Hyunjae and Kyungmi waiting with Jennie and Nayeon.

I hugged Jennie and Nayeon and said my goodbyes then we headed off to the parking lot where we rode and SUV that Seokjin drove.

I told them what had happened to me for the past few days and they just listened to me talk and after what seemed like an hour of driving, we arrived somewhere, well actually we drove to a mansion covered with trees. We went in and when we opened the main door I was welcomed by unfamiliar but seem familiar faces.

They all went up to me and hugged me and I just looked at them blankly and all of then looked confused and then Seokjin said, "She suffered head trauma because of the accident and she only remembers some memories and not all."

"She remembers Hyunjae and Kyungmi but not us", he said with his head hung low and the mood instantly became heavy then I looked down and said, "I'm sorry if I don't remember you guys, I really am, I'll do my best to try and remember you so that you guys won't feel bad anymore."

Then a woman who looked older and more mature than the rest of us lifted my head by the chin and she said, "Don't worry about us sweetie, you need to get better, it's better than completely losing you okay, at least you're still standing in front of us."

I nodded and looked at them and said, "What even happened to me?"

A man with doe looking eyes went to me and just hugged me and said, "This would've never happened if I saved you and fought better."

"I don't understand, what happened?", I asked. He released from the hug then he led me to the couch and we sat there and he held my hands and told me everything and I nodded and said, "I don't remember but at least I didn't completely fall."

I then said to him, "Don't feel bad, I mean I only remember a few names and I don't know whose belongs to whose so I'm gonna guess, Jung...... ko... Jungkook! Right?"

He nodded with tears in his eyes and I said, "But that's all I know."
