"Hey nana," I said as I got into the car. She picks me up from school and we go to get ice cream everyday after school while we talk about our days.
"We have to take a little detour today if you don't mind." She smiled at me. "How was school?"
"It was interesting," I smirked.
"How so?" She said as she pulled away from the school.
"Uh the teacher broke his nose," I laughed.
"How?" She snorted.
"Someone threw a book," I laughed.
"Did you throw the book?" She asked.
"No," technically I'm not lying. I didn't throw it. I moved it with my mind.
"Okay." She laughed.
A few minutes passed and we pulled In front of my moms house.
"Why are we here," I simply asked.
"I just have to pick something up," she said. "It'll be like twenty minutes." She explained.
"Okay." I said before climbing out the car. We walked up the house and my nana used her spare key to open the door. We walked in and I went up to my old room to look fr-
