Chapter Thirteen

"Two minutes left people two minutes!" Mrs.Sedesta hollers as I with everyone else hurriedly try to finish our in-class essay.

My eyes quickly scan through the screen looking for any drastic imperfections or grammatical errors as I chew on my bottom lip as a nervous habit

"And done! Everyone email your essays to me immediately. If I don't receive them in the next five minutes, I will assume you didn't do it and give you an automatic zero" 

Oh yeah..she's one of those teachers

"Also class, don't forget to go to E106 at 12:56. The school has organized a presentation for all seniors for life after high school" with that left in mind, we all continue to send our essays and get ready to leave

"Oh my God MOVE! You can suck him dry later, hell you can even do it in five seconds but at least let me through! damn!" Taylor yells as she pushes herself between the couple that was getting a little too explicit in the hallway

As you've probably guessed, we were on our way to E106 and as you've probably guessed..it's crowded

 My school had a large population of students and the school building itself was rather small so passing period...assemblies..presentations..cafeteria..were never anyone's finest hour.

Taylor and I continue to squeeze through people her huffing and puffing and me uttering 'excuse me' after every 10 seconds when in reality all I wanted to do was scream 'MOVE BITCH GET OUT THE WAY'

but ima be nice

We finally get to the classroom and it felt like we just went through the hunger games. I let a loud sigh of relief as I turn my head to see Taylor dramatically huffing for air as her eyes turn narrow 

"I hate people" we mutter at the exact same time causing us to laugh

"Angela! Angela!"

I turn my head to be met with Mason's grinning face as he tries to push to the front

When he finally comes inside, he breaths heavily and lets out a dramatic loud sigh as he looks back up at me and smiles revealing his pearly white teeth "hey"

"Hey Mason" Taylor and I say simultaneously 

"How fun was it passing those people aye girls? Felt like I was on my own tv show. "The Last Survivor,"  He says  teasingly raising his right eyebrow 

Taylor gives him a weird look as I simply look at him dumbfounded

He chuckles raising his hands up in surrender 

As I was about to say something, I hear Taylor squeal 

Mason and I turn our attention to her only to see her jumping up and down with the brightest smile on her face looking down on her phone

"What happened?" I asked confused

"Christopher asked me on a date tonight!" She screams now doing her happy dance while people's heads turn to stare at her weirdly

"That's great Tay" I say enthusiastically as she grabs me into a hug 

"I gotta go!" she hurriedly says as she releases me and starts heading out 

"wait what? Taylor?! Assembly?!" I scream looking at her expectedly 

"Angela! Date! I only have 5 hours to get ready, that's not nearly enough time!" She exclaims as it was the most obvious thing in the world
