This is probably going to be all over the place and honestly, I've debated on whether or not I should even discuss such a sensitive topic but I truly feel these sort of discussions are needed
Unfortunately and much to many dismay, we live in a generation that focuses predominantly on physical attributions. We as both men and female are constantly being put down for features we can not change.
From the color of our skin to the size of our lips to the size of our hips
I can't explain to you the disappointment I have towards the media broadcasting their unrealistic versions of beauty and I can't put into words the despondency I feel when I see the effects of the beauty standards they have placed
One thing I also can't fully ever understand is the hate others so easily throw like knives
The harassment, the bullying, and the hateful words that cause so many indescribable pain
I easily can go on and on ranting about such social issues but that's not the point of this post
This, however, this is the point:
I want you to know that it is okay to have pimples
It is okay not to be a size zero
It is okay to be flat-chested or have a small butt
It's beautiful even
Now let me tell you why:
Beauty is not one definition
Beauty is you
You are beauty
I was going to write this long thing about why all of you are beautiful and why so many have wronged u into believing u were anything but beautiful but then believed it was best to keep it short and sweet
Mostly because I fail to put into words all the emotions that are radiating off of me
It saddens me to think others fail to recognize their own sense of originality and authenticity because I empathize and I know the mental struggle insecurity leaves behind in one's mind
That's why it's very important for me to say as loud as I possibly can
You are more than beautiful

Remember to be kind
