I squeeze my eyes shut letting the salty drops fall slide down my cheeks as I sob hugging the pillow closer to me

I don't know why his words hurt me so much but they did..

I hate him

But I hate myself more for letting him have such control on my emotions

I close my eyes taking deep shaky breaths as I rest my chin on my pillow 

"ANGELA OPEN THE DAMN DOOR BEFORE I BREAK IT DOWN" 

I roll my eyes sniffing as I grab my blanket and head to open the door for Taylor

She's standing with her arms crossed against her chest while her right foot is tapping

She opens her mouth surely to yell at me until she takes in my appearance. I'm pretty sure I look close to a dying rat right now. My eyes are puffy from crying as my cheeks are stained with tears

She sighs opening her arms and looking at me expectedly

"What?" I ask my voice croaked 

"Come here"

My eyes immediately begin to water as I hug my best friend sobbing quietly while she simply holds me

I let go and she looks at me and smiles before hitting me in the head

"Taylor what the fuck" I groan as I rub my head glaring at her

"Dumb bitches get slapped" She shrugs her shoulders as she inspects her newly coated nails

"Bro are you --"

"Nononono" She waves her index finger around as she places her left arm on her hip, "Like hell am I going to let you cry over an asshole...a hot asshole but an asshole"

"Seriously Taylor?" I deadpan

"Shh" She places her index finger on my lips as I stare at her wide-eyed 

"Listen. You knew he was an asshole from the beginning. This has nothing to do with you. You're a badass sexy ass bitch you hear me? You can get any dick you want whenever you want" 

A small smile forms on my lips as my sobs get softer 

"You don't want him. You know why? Because you know you deserve better and you will get better"

I take a shaky breath feeling better realizing all I needed was some tough love from my best friend

"I love you Tay" I say softly 

She grins at me, "I know. I'm the best" 

I roll my eyes and huff as I hit her on the shoulder causing us both to chuckle

"I love you too best friend" 

"Alright" she claps her hands "Take a shower, get dressed, and let's go somewhere"
