Lior's POV

Where...

Where am I?

I look around to see what seemed to be a vast, endless forest.

I had no recollection of my memories.

Why was I here?

Some of my memories come flowing back to me abruptly.

What I had been doing...

I...

Lucy...

I'd been so horrible to her and her friends.

Lilith...

Sh-She...

Why had she done this?!

All of this...

To me...

To Lucy's guild...

Most of all, to Lucy...

My best— No, my only friend.

I had to find my way out of this forest, and I had to go to her guild immediately.

I had to apologize.

I was both horrified and enraged, with myself, and with Lilith...

To think, I'd actually been capable of...

I look down at my palm, thinking back to the fragments of memories I'd gained.

How did I end up with such powerful magic in my veins?

I-I don't remember having any magic at all, besides the ability to create an illusion.

It could be an illusion of basically anything... if I wasn't so weak.

Still, I don't think I'll ever use the magic Lilith gave me.

I did horrible things with that black magic.

So horrible... I had to get rid of it, somehow.

I had to get to the guild of Fairy Tail right away, but I was having a hard time getting out of this forest.

Everywhere I looked, it was just an endless wall of plants.

If only I could remember how I got to this location.

Though a few things may've been cleared up, my memories were still fuzzy.

It was like plot holes in a book.

If you leave out too much information, the reader will be confused.

I looked up to the sky, where I noticed by the position of the Sun that it was around 4:30 PM.

It wouldn't be too long till it'd be too dark for me to see at all.

My escape was a leap of faith.

I could only hope I'd choose the right path as I began my trek throughout the tall trees.

Some towered for what seemed miles above me, blocking my view of the sky.

I felt as if I'd been walking forever when I noticed the trees beginning to clear up.

Had I chosen the correct way out?

A sigh of relief came over me as the edge of the forest came into sight.

I'd head straight over to apologize to the members.
