Lior's POV

Throughout life, I've learned many things.

For example, grief can do so much to a person.

It could break someone down, give them a resolve, or even determine their future.

For me, grief meant lying in bed and contemplating life.

Now that Lilith was gone, I felt as if a part of me had faded.

Yes, it had been broken by her recent actions, but now it was completely out of the puzzle.

I knew I had to get out and do something eventually.

Suddenly, a memory flashed through my head.

"Lior... this is the reversal serum for Lucy's power. You can use it if anything goes wrong. It won't kill her, and it won't hurt her. We need her on our side, but until she can master her great power, we need to have this on hand. It's located in..."

The words became fuzzy.

I couldn't make out what Aunt Lilith had been saying.

But there was a cure...

My grief had found a memory, and my memory found Lucy's cure.

I stumbled onto my feet, bursting open the door to the guild hall.

"Lior, how are you feeling?" Mira asked kindly.

Word of what I'd said in the office got around, but I didn't care right now.

I was ecstatic.

We could save Lucy!

I couldn't even get the words out of my mouth.

"Lior, what's wrong?" Erza, the scarlet-haired girl, questions.

I didn't mean to worry them...

I just couldn't believe the information I'd obtained.

I took a deep breath, calming myself down in order to talk.

"There is a cure, somewhere... Lilith showed it to me in the past."

A silence came over the room, which I assumed was them processing what I'd said.

"Wait... seriously?!" The ice-mage of Team Natsu yelled.

I nodded.

"I don't know where, but one does exist."

The guild of Fairy Tail filled the room with their loud cheers.

Everyone's spirits were high, and all the hope that'd been lost was regained by a few simple words.

We could help Lucy.

The guilt I felt from what had happened to her was a weight that had been lifted off my chest, even if it was just the slightest lift I needed to breathe.

I would risk everything to fix my mistake.

I will see this through, no matter what.

Suddenly, the guild collapsed onto me in a gigantic hug.

We were one step closer to the end of our struggle.

Now, all I need to remember is where that serum was located.

Okay honestly, I already have the idea for my next book.

Sadly, it's not a continuation of this one, but I can't wait to release it nonetheless!

Over time, of course, plans may change, but I plan to end this story on this book.

Still, I hope you enjoy it while it lasts!

I also hope you'll enjoy the new one when it releases.

If you have any questions about the new book, I will answer them to the best of my ability ONLY if they don't spoil it too much.

Same goes for this book?

(Ex: Who will be the main focus of the book? Will [insert ship here] get any/more moments?)
