Lucy's POV

"Quite the confident one she was! Now look at her..." Lior's mother stated, looking down on me as I struggled to defend myself against her henchmen.

I smirked.

"I haven't even begun to fight." I tell her, throwing them off me with great force.

I'd been trying to hold back as much as possible, but I was done holding back.

"You want a battle, here's a battle!" I yelled.

For the first time in a while, I developed the magic of the Celestial Dragon in my hand.

"Fist of the Celestial Dragon!"

I punched one of her men, sending them flying.

"Great hit, Luce!" Natsu yelled, hitting another one of her men.

"You too." I replied with a smile before turning back to Lior's mother.

We were bursting through them like they were nothing now.

Natsu and I were a great duo, their numbers meaning almost nothing.

"Lucy!" I hear a voice call from behind me.

I turn around to see Lior running out of the guild.

"Natsu, take care of things for a moment!" I say, rushing over to Lior.

"Lior, what's wrong?!" I ask worriedly, stopping in front of him.

Something was different.

His eyes held determination, a new feature they hadn't held before.

"Lucy, I... I wanna help too! I still don't think I could fight my mother, but I can at least try to fight the others."

I smile.

"Go around and see if any of the others need help. I know you can do it."

He nods, running off.

I was glad he decided to fight alongside us.

I run back over to Natsu.

"Come on Luce, let's finish this up!" He yelled at my return.

"Let's do it." I say determinedly.

Lior's POV

I rush over to see if anyone needed any help.

Everyone seemed to be handling themselves just fine.

"Lior!" A voice called.

I looked over to see Gray and Erza fighting near each other.

I rush over.

"Glad you decided to join us." Erza said with a smile.

"I-Is there anything I could do to help?" I ask them.

Gray pushed a Blood Thorn member off of him.

"Just do what you have to do! We have your back, and you have ours!"

I looked around, thinking to myself.

It was obvious Fairy Tail was better off when it came to power, people like Erza and Gray taking care of Blood Thorn's members like nothing.

Still, Blood Thorn's overwhelming numbers caused for a problem here and there, some slipping through the fairies' grasps.

What could I do to hold them back?

I cast an illusion of bright light, shining it in the enemies' eyes, temporarily blinding them.

"Nice job, Lior!" Gray yelled with a smile.

I was proud of my actions, feeling as if I actually might've helped out.

Maybe my mother wasn't the only one who underestimated me...

I was going to keep on fighting.

Omg...
