"Mommy! Can you plug the lights up?" I asked my momma as I stepped back from the Christmas tree, now fully decorated in time for Christmas. She slowly shuffled her way to the outlet and plugged the tree lights up which immediately caught Kaleb's attention, who was sitting back in the chair beside Dana. His eyes lit up and he dropped the bottle from his hands, clapping while drool poured from his mouth
"Somebody fell in love with the lights" momma said with a laugh and I walked over to Kaleb, picking him up
"Aunties baby in love with the lights?"
I walked him closer to the tree and he started grabbing for ornaments so I pulled him back
"Noel, when you gotta tattoo?" Dana asked while she looked up from her phone and my momma arched up her eyebrow
"YOUUU gotta tattoo?"
"Yeah. Kentrell and I went for his birthday" I answered while I turned to show her the tattoo on my back which was exposed through the pajama tank top I was wearing. I could feel her warm hand on my back as she looked at it and she made a noise
"I'm surprised you outta all people gotta tattoo"
"Kentrell talked me into getting it. He sat there and got two so I knew I could sit through one"
"Kentrell got so many damn tattoos you can't tell if he gotta new one" Dana muttered
"What did he get" my momma asked and I shrugged
"He added onto his sleeve and he got another one on his chest with my name on it"
They both stopped what they were doing to look at me
"Kentrell got your name tattooed on him?" Dana asked and I nodded, making her laugh "gotta be in love"
"Forreal" My momma agreed as she took kaleb from me "I love Derek but there's no way in hell im tattooing him on me"
"We leave stupid decisions like that to people like Kentrell momma" Dana said with a laugh but I didn't laugh. Instead I frowned
"Kentrell is not stupid"
"Well Whatchu call it?"
Just as Dana responded with that, the door opened and Kentrell walked in with Elena and Kd behind him. While it sounded like Elena and KD were arguing like usual, Kentrell seemed annoyed
"Don't EVER make me ride in a car with them two again" Kentrell said while he shook his head and threw a bag on the chair but it ended up hitting Dana
"Oww you asshole"
"You saw the bag coming. Should've moved"
She held a mean look on her face then looked inside the bag while my momma laughed and hugged Kentrell
