"Aye Yb. Whatchu think this surprise is Noel gotchu for Christmas?" Ben asked me. I shrugged and placed my foot on the arm of the chair Elena sat in, dusting off my shoes while she looked at me some type of way
"Ion know. I'm not sure when it comes to her nomore"
"Whatchu mean?" Elena asked, butting in
"Exactly What I said. You know how yo sister is"
Elena shrugged and nodded "true. But if you could guess, what do you hope it could be?"
"Some shit telling me she off birth control cause she keep playing but I'm tryina fuck her life up. She gotta have ALL my kids"
"You tryina make sure she stuck" boomer said and I nodded
"Forever!"
"Kentrell you do realize how stubborn Noel is. If she don't feel like she ready to get off of birth control then she won't" Elena tried to tell me but I wasn't paying her any attention. The back door opened and Noel walked outside with her arms crossed. Her eyes scanned the backyard and I carefully watched her as she did so
She wore a pair of puma leggings with a matching oversized sweatshirt along with slides that corresponded with her whole outfit. Her hair was straightened down and she wore a little bit of make-up. Just eyeliner and a little bit of lipgloss
"You finally decided to come smoke?" Elena asked and she shook her head
"No. I just need Kentrell to come get something for me"
"Get what?" I asked and she rolled her eyes
"Just come on. You'll see when you get there"
I sighed and shook my head while going back upstairs to the back porch. Noel turned to go in the house so I followed behind her. She led me back through the kitchen and living room and outside to the front yard
"Whatchu need me to get?"
"Just sit right here and wait a minute" she told me, sounding like she was excited and annoyed at the same time. I huffed and sat down on the steps looking next door at the caution tape that was drooping around the front yard of Judah's house and chuckled a bit
"Bitch ass nigga" I muttered and noticed Makayla walking from their backyard and over to Noel's. In her arms was Micah, sleep, and she held two big gift bags.
Noel closed the car door and walked over to me with a huge smile on her face while she held a gift box in her hands
"Fuck is that?" I bluntly asked and she smacked her lip with a frown
"Kentrell... just look at it"
I took the box and she smiled again while sitting on the steps beside me, eagerly waiting for me to open it.
"I promise you, won't no Christmas gift be better than this"
"We'll see..." I muttered while opening the box as she watched
Noel
As nervous as I was, I felt like Kentrell was taking his sweet precious time opening the box. I held my breath a little as he looked inside the box and a shocked look quickly took over his face
Inside of the box was a positive pregnancy test, paperwork from my doctors appointment stating that I was pregnant and a couple of the ultrasound pictures
"What?" Was all he could say with a smile and looked at me "but I thought you w-"
"I never went to go get my other birth control shot" I confessed and he looked down at the ultrasound pictures again
"The baby's due in July"
"Oh shitttt" he chuckled, just staring at them "you sure this forreal?"
"Yes Kentrell" I laughed "that's our baby. You finally get to be a daddy"
He started cheesing and threw his arm across my shoulders, pulling me towards him so I hugged his torso
"Damn... this is crazy" was all he could say and I smiled
"Yeah you got lucky cause I forgot and missed my appointment to get my birth control shot and by the time I went to get it done it was too late"
Kentrell started chuckling and pulled away from me
"How long you knew"
"That doctors appointment I went to when I drove your car. I just lied and told you I had to get my blood pressure checked"
Kentrell smacked his lips and pushed me a little so I hit him back
"You can't be putting your hands on a pregnant woman sir"
"I do what I want. Especially since you and that baby belong to me"
"And here you go. Starting already... I knew I should've just took the baby and moved away"
"Yeah you got me fucked up now. I'll kill yo ass Noel"
"Yeah whatever"
"Who all know other than me"
"My momma obviously...but that's it. And I literally just told her right before I got you"
Kentrell leaned back against the steps still smiling "first Eric and now this. Shit Issa Christmas miracle"
I burst out laughing and leaned back on him, laying my head on his shoulder
