"alright class, today we have a new student. their name is jeon jungkook, and i expect all of you to treat them well," mr. kim said as soon as the bell rang for first period.

a girl in the back raised her hand and mr. kim addressed her, "mr. kim, is the new student a boy or girl?"

mr. kim furrowed his eyebrows together and shrugged, "i'm not entirely sure, i haven't had the chance to meet them, yet."

one after another, students were all raising their hands to ask what mr. kim knew about the new student, but all he could tell them was his name and age.

a knock on the door made the classroom fall silent. taehyung walked over to the door and opened it, allowing for a small figure to walk in. and let me just say, if taehyung said this kid wasn't cute, he'd be lying to himself.

the boy walked in wearing a light blue sweatshirt that obviously went past his fingertips, giving him sweater paws. his white skinny jeans were ripped at the knees, showing his pale skin. he was clutching his books to his chest so tightly that his knuckles looked white.

he walked in past taehyung and waited for further instructions, "hello, jungkook. i'm your teacher, mr. kim. i hope you have an amazing first day. please, introduce yourself to your classmates." taehyung ushered the young boy forward.

"h-hello, i'm jeon jungkook and, um, i-i'm seventeen." his stutter was so cute that taehyung literally swooned.

"how about you tell your class where you're from, jungkook." taehyung stood by the door, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest, watching the boy intently.

"right, um well, i-i'm originally f-from busan," he kept staring at his feet the whole time, taehyung decided he'd been embarrassed enough.

"thank you, jungkook. please take your seat, over by.." taehyung looked around the classroom, seeing as almost all the seats were full. "how about you sit here?" taehyung pointed to a desk directly in front of him.

the small boy nodded and sat down in the wooden desk. taehyung allowed for him to get settled in before he started the lesson.

many times during class, taehyung caught the poor boy's face giving the board a confusing look as he tried to copy the notes.

the bell rang, signalling the end of class. as students started packing their things, taehyung watched as jungkook slowly stacked his books in a neat pile.

if he's being honest, taehyung couldn't keep his eyes off the young boy the entire class period. how could he? with jungkook's adorable brown eyes to the blush that's evident on his cheeks, jungkook was the cutest human being in taehyung's eyes.

taehyung wished the class period wasn't over, he wished to have more time with the smaller boy. then he remembered, 'jungkook was having trouble understanding the lesson'.

"excuse me, jungkook?" jungkook's head perked up at the sound of his name, "would you mind staying for a moment?" the young boy placed his things back on his desk and sat himself back down.

when all the other students had left the room, taehyung got up from his chair, taking long strides toward the younger. he pulled a chair from a nearby desk and placed it near the younger's wooden desk. he sat down close to jungkook, so close he felt their knees brush against each other. he could've swore he saw the younger's cheeks become a darker tint of red.

"so, jungkook, i've noticed you didn't quite understand the lesson today," taehyung started off. jungkook nodded, his eyes now staring into those of his teacher's. "i think you should consider taking my after school course. it doesn't cost anything to attend, you just show up and i'll help you however i can."

taehyung showed a small smile, earning a bigger one from the younger, "t-thank you very m-much, mr. kim. i really a-appreciate it." taehyung stood up, placing the chair back in its place and walking back up to his desk.

"also, one more thing," taehyung started once he sat down in his seat, "i noticed how you talk, you look down at your feet. i assure you that nobody will laugh at you if you look up, i want you to feel as comfortable in here as possible."

"oh, i kn-know, mr. kim, i'm just re-really shy when i-it comes to meeting n-new people." jungkook looked down at his feet as he stood up from his seat, walking up to his teacher's desk.

taehyung couldn't help but stare at the younger's adorable actions as he made his way toward him, "i promise you, jungkook, all of your peers are amazingly intelligent intellectuals and they're very generous. i can promise that nobody here would intentionally harm you in any way. so, there's nothing to be scared of."

jungkook looked his teacher's warm smile, and he couldn't help but smile back, feeling his cheeks become inflamed. after bidding each other a good day, and jungkook agreeing to come to taehyung's after school course, jungkook walked to his next class, science.

on his way, he couldn't help but think about his teacher. he couldn't deny it, his teacher was really attractive. just the very thought of his made jungkook's face heat up.

jungkook knew it was cheesy, but he was wondering if this was what people called "love at first sight". he highly doubted it was love, merely just a crush. but there was this feeling inside of him, he couldn't explain it, but he never experienced something this intense.

he couldn't wait to see his teacher after school.
