The Third Saiyan

The Saiyans Arrive

After a long tenure of training for each member of the Z-Fighters, it was now time to deal with the Saiyans who had just arrived. Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Gohan, and Thorn were already there and they began to fight against the Saibamen which Krillin dispatched quickly using a spread blast that hit each member while one of the Saiyans was able to dodge the last blast. Thorn then said to Krillin "Nice work! Now let's start with the big guy!" The bigger Saiyan then said after a small laugh "You dare challenge the mighty Nappa! All of you are a bunch of fools!" Thorn went to speak but he was cut off when Tien said "I'll handle this guy....it's personal after his little plants killed Yamcha." Thorn then said in Tien's ear "Listen....he's stronger than he looks and to top it all of whatever attack hits him seems to just bounce off." Tien wasn't listening as he seemed to rush in attacking Nappa however as the fight went on Tien lost part of his arm due to Nappa's brute strength. This shocked everyone where they became a bit worried for their safety but Thorn while yes he was shocked he wasn't like Gohan and Krillin where he worried for his life but he now a clue as to how strong Nappa truly was. This made Thorn smile and say "Gohan, you and Krillin take care of Tien. Chiaotzu help them out for me will ya? I'll handle Nappa....alone." Krillin then rushed in to stop Thorn but all he heard was "Don't worry....I've done enough training to handle this." (PLAY SONG ABOVE) Nappa then said to Thorn "Well come on! I don't have all day!" Thorn then said with a smirk "You want me? Fine, you got me!"

Vegeta thought to himself after seeing Thorn Land one hit on Nappa and be able to dodge with extreme ease (I don't understand this, how did this Saiyan gather so much energy when he was weaker than Nappa during his fight with Raditz?) Thorn then said to Nappa "You know this is wasting my time, you got all pumped up and this is all you got?" This shocked Nappa as he never heard a 'low-class' Saiyan speak to him like that before, then he got angry and said while charging forward "How date you speak to me like that you low class reject!" Thorn smirked and dodged once more Only this time he appeared on top of Nappa's head, nappa went to grab Thorn but failed to see the Saiyan dodge again and deliver a high powered punch to his stomach. Krillin and the others were astounded by this but Vegeta was simply shocked that Thorn was moving so quickly while Nappa was acting like an idiot. Thorn then looked down at Nappa who was still trying to recover from having their stomach punched with such power and velocity. Thorn never said anything s he stared a hole straight into Nappa, his speed was overpowering the 'elite' Saiyan and to make matters worse Vegeta could be seen fuming at the sight of Nappa being beaten so easily. Nappa tried to attack again but Thorn kicked him into a boulder and sending him to the sky, nappa growled in anger while he fired a Ki blast that Thorn was able to power his way through without any damage. Nappa and Vegeta were shocked same Krillin and the others, Thorn let an attack hit him and he's standing there looking perfectly fine as if nothing happened. Nappa went to fire another blast at Thorn but he failed to see that Thorn had flown up behind him delivering a kick to the face with such power and velocity while saying "This is for Yamcha!" Nappa was sent flying into a pile of rocks while Thorn landed to where he could look at the pile of debris and watch when Nappa would emerge. Sure enough the large man emerged from the debris pile saying "Low class dog! I hate you!" He crushed a rock in his hand and tossed a smaller rock that he had a hold of at Thorn who just simply dodged it while saying "You hate losing...you've never had to fight someone stronger than you and that's why you're angry, just give up Nappa besides I don't want waste anymore time fighting you I'd rather fight Vegeta." This infuriated Nappa as he was about to charge Thorn he heard from Vegeta "Nappa! Calm down you damn moron! Can't you see he's trying to make you angry! Use your head and calm down, you're so angry you can't see straight!" This calmed nappa down as Vegeta thought to himself (Damn fool has no idea that Thorn is toying with him! As usual I'll have to step in and handle his mess...) Thorn looked over at Nappa and said just before charging him "You sure you want to continue Nappa? You do realize that I'm toying with you at this point right?" Both Nappa and thorn clashed fists for a short while before Nappa said to Thorn with a devilish grin "Try this on for size ya runt!" Nappa's mouth opened as a beam formed and then fired at Thorn, this caused the 'low class' to dodge and say while attacking Nappa with a Kamehameha wave "This is for Tien! KA...ME...HA...ME...HAAAA!!" As the attack hit Nappa he began to dissolve into dust while screaming for Vegeta to help which as he didn't realize was falling on deaf ears. As Thorn landed between his friends and Vegeta all Thorn could hear was clapping followed by the Prince saying "Well well, seems I underestimated your skills. You're very capable of fighting at a high level, why don't you join me Thorn? I could use someone like you to help me conquer planets." Thorn shook his head and said while staring a hole into Vegeta "No. I won't stoop to your level and cause harm to other planets for amusement, you wanna do that to this planet you'll have to go through me and Kakarot!" Thorn then said to his friends while charging his Kaioken "Stay our of our fight, I don't want to lose another friend to this bastard." Krillin went to argue but he was stopped by Tien who said to him "Krillin....do as he says, Thorn can handle himself until Goku arrives." Thorn smirked and said to Vegeta "You know it's a shame that you want to destroy this planet...that just means I have to kill you." With that being said Thorn kept his ice cold stare at Vegeta which to normal people would make them a bit nervous but for Vegeta all it seemed to do was make him respect Thorn as he knew just by watching that fight against Nappa. Vegeta then said to Thorn "Well then....I guess we have a fight to get over with don't we?" Thorn powered up his Kaioken and said while taking a stance "Looks that way doesn't it?" Just then the two Saiyans charged each other and almost immediately they both were clashing with each other with Thorn letting Vegeta attack first so he could get an idea of where to block and where he could counter. Just then Thorn backed away which made Vegeta attack him only for Thorn to dodge and say while kicking Vegeta's back "Nice try! Take this!" The kick hit Vegeta in his lower back causing the prince to scream in pain while also losing a bit of feeling in his legs. While fighting Vegeta and doing decent amounts of damage, Thorn could sense that Goku was on his way but he could also sense that his energy was getting too low to hold Kaioken any longer. He then kicked Vegeta into a rock while charging a Kamehameha but just before he could launch it, Vegeta fired a blast of his own called Galick Gun. The blast hit Thorn who was able to at least get his arms up to block some of the damage but when he landed on the ground near his friends, Thorn had been forced to drop the Kaioken and this was a sign that the Z-Fighters were about to be history. Vegeta arrived while saying to the group "You know I was gonna wait for Kakarot to arrive but now you've pissed me off! Time to die you fools! Galick Gun......FI-" Just then Goku arrived and kicked Vegeta away while saying to him "I don't think so!" He landed near his friends while saying "Sorry I'm late guys....I'm guessing he's the last one to worry about?" Thorn then said while dropping to a knee due to his energy being low "Yeah....that's Vegeta, the prince of the Saiyans. I killed his buddy Nappa earlier." Goku wasn't shocked by this as he knew that Thorn always did what he thought was right however what shocks him is how much energy Thorn used in order to buy him some time. As Goku surveyed the situation he was able understand how Thorn kept everyone safe minus the fact that Yamcha died due to him wanting to prove he wasn't weak in front of his friends, it was then that Thorn said to Goku "Keep your eyes open and don't start off slow against this guy Goku, he was able to match my Kaioken." This made Goku realize what he was up against and that he had to be careful of what he did however as the fight between himself and Vegeta started, Goku didn't follow what Thorn said about starting slow and he ended up having to use his Kaioken early which worked but also proved that Goku wasn't as strong as Vegeta. Watching the fight Thorn had no choice but to stand there and stay calm however as he stood there it was obvious that he couldn't as his Saiyan blood began to boil and he was itching to fight once more. After a few minutes Goku was pushed away again and this time Thorn didn't let Vegeta continue his onslaught as Thorn rushed in while saying "My turn! Take this!" Thorn stopped right in front of Vegeta and used a blast attack that seemed to be at his full amount of power, the blast launched Vegeta right into a mountain and after hearing the prince impact it Thorn looked at Goku while saying "Sorry but I can't stay away knowing that Vegeta is here, my body was itching for more." Goku smirked and said "I know what you mean, let's end this shall we?" Thorn and Goku took their stances however instead of two versus one like Vegeta and the others thought it was more of Thorn would attack and if he was sent flying Goku would intervene and vice versa. This strategy was conceived back when they were kids and it has always worked for them in the past but now they have a fighter who will test their skills and energy conservation to their limits! Can they hold on against Vegeta or will the Prince of Saiyans eliminate them both and take over Earth?
