The Third Saiyan

A Hero And....A Princess?

[You know the routine here so I'll spare you the same nonsense I spouted last time about this, I won't spoil the story here but I will say that this time Thorn has somehow entered the land of Hyrule during the Ocarina of Time arc and after seeing and feeling an attack from Ganondorf, Thorn is feeling a desire to fight back against an evil who most certainly could finally kill his adversary named Link. ENJOY!!]

[Hyrule Field-Nighttime]

Thorn landed in what appeared to be a lake and after swimming to the surface his eyes scanned the area only to note a few things. The first thing he noticed was that the area he was in was almost prehistoric compared to what he was used to seeing, the second thing he noticed was that it was storming very intensely at his location and the last thing he noted was a very evil spirit near his location. Thorn flew towards the area and spotted the source of the evil spirit and Thorn then spotted a child that was about to be attacked! Thorn used his speed to get in front of the attack which was a bad move as the attack stunned him to where he collapsed on the ground leaving the evil man to say while riding off "Bah! How pathetic! Not even a man like him can stand up to me even in my weakest state! You got lucky kid but next time I won't be so forgiving for your kind of insolence!" The man rode off in what appeared to a be northern direction leaving an unconscious Thorn and a child wondering how he was going to help Thorn on his feet. As the child went to get help Thorn began to wake and stand up, the child immediately walked over and helped Thorn up only to hear from the child "That man....where did he go?" The child didn't know however he simply said "Sorry mister but I'm not sure...i haven't been here before." Thorn sighed and said after a bit of sensing "Well I can't find him right now...what's your name kid?" The child looked at Thorn who knelt down to be near eye level as the child said "I'm Link, I'm going to be a hero to this land one day!" Thorn couldn't help but smile at Link's childish nature even after what he had just seen, Thorn then said while placing a hand on Link's head "Call me Thorn...let's get you home shall we? I'm sure you're parents are worried about you." Link then said after a bit of silence "I don't have any parents...I live in a forest full of people called Kokiri. But i can't go home yet, I have something that I have to do first." Thorn then said while looking at Link "And what would that be my young friend?" Link surveyed the area and said while pointing in the water "There! That's what Zelda threw to me earlier before Ganondorf appeared!" Thorn went to ask what in the world Link was talking about however before he could even think to ask Link jumped into the water and grabbed the item from the water, the child held it up and said "It's the Ocarina of Time! I can use this to open that area where the Master Sword is!" Thorn then said while helping Link from the water "Can you explain what all you plan on doing? I know that the Ocarina thing is special but explain to me why you need a sword."

[30 minutes later]

Thorn then said after he listened to Link tell him everything he knew about what was going on "So that sword is the key to keeping Ganondorf sealed away so he can't take over Hyrule?" Link nodded and Thorn then said after looking to the castle "Then let's get that sword and take him down, what do you say to that?" Link still a child smiled at this and then he said to Thorn "Would you like to travel with me and help me get rid of Ganondorf?" Thorn smiled at the child and said while placing a hand on Link's head "Of course! After all I wouldn't mind getting a piece of Ganondorf after that attack he launched at me."

[Timeskip-After Link draws Master Sword]

Thorn watched as the light faded from Link and after it did finally fade away Thorn noticed that Link was no longer a child but now a man. Link observed his body and said after looking himself over "What the? I'm not a child anymore!" Thorn then said while walking close to Link "That's because you've aged, it happened when you touched the sword." Link went to speak when suddenly his fairy named Navi appeared while saying "Link! You've become a grown up! And a handsome one at that as well, so now we need to gather the seven seals from the sages. They should each be in their respective temples." Thorn then said while he looked at the fairy "Well we can go ahead and cross one of those seals you mentioned, it looks like Link has one already." Navi then hovered around Thorn's face and after a few moments she said while in front of his left eye "You're not from here but...you seem to have very warm energy." Thorn then said to the fairy in a soft voice as she very close to his face "Of course...I was raised to protect those who cannot protect themselves, I've also trained myself to always restrain myself and never harm anyone who is an innocent person." Navi was about to fall due to her constant fluttering only for Thorn to hold out his hand and allow her to rest, Navi wasn't expecting someone like Thorn to do that but when she landed in his hand Navi could feel the calloused hands that were 'stained' with the blood of his enemies from the countless battles he had taken part in. Link then said while looking at Navi "So who's the first sage that we save?" Navi then said after a small pause "Well....its your old friend from the forest that's first." Link blushed at who they were about to save however Thorn simply said to Link with a smirk "I'm going to guess that this person is a female aren't they? Not only that but I'm going to guess you're in love with them?" Link blushed even more and this time Navi said to Thorn "Yes the person we're saving is a girl...her name is Saria she's the sage of the forest." Thorn thought about this for a moment and for some reason he could sense Saria's energy even though they were a long way away from the temple she was located in. Link then said after clearing his mind and gathering his gear "Shall we get going then? We need to hurry up if we are to save her." Thorn nodded and said while walking out of the Temple of Time "Let's get this over with Shall we? The faster we do this the faster we can go after Ganondorf so we can kick his ass." Just before leaving a man appeared while saying "Impressive how someone from another world knows about what we are after...it's as if you are an enemy!" Just then the man attacked Thorn only for them to have their attack fail as Thorn didn't budge or flinch from the punch. Thorn stared at the man and said "If I was an enemy don't you think I would've killed Link by now? Why does everyone always think I'm evil?" Link simply sighed and said to the attacker "Thorn isn't a bad guy...sure he's intense but he's still an ally, what's your name?" The attacker then apologized to Thorn while also saying "I am Sheik, a survivor of the Sheikah tribe. I'm also the person who will help you with finding the sages in their temples and also learning the songs for their temples." Thorn and Link watched as Sheik pulled out a small golden harp and began to play some music, Link followed along with Sheik as he learned a song that allowed him to teleport to the Temple of Time. Thorn observed the area keeping a watchful eye over things and luckily for both Link and Sheik it was a good thing Thorn was there, zombified enemies known as Redeads appeared and walked towards them both however Thorn used his energy in a way to knock them out rather then kill them. Link was both stunned and impressed however Sheik wasn't feeling the same way as he couldn't tell whether Thorn was telling the truth or not about him not being evil, it was then that Thorn simply said "Let's go save your friend that's trapped in the temple mentioned earlier, like I said faster we do this the faster I get to give Ganondorf a sample of my power." Sheik and Link both asked what he meant by this and that made Thorn smirk and say "Why don't I just show you?" The two of them were confused however Thorn simply did this:

Thorn faced both Sheik and Link while saying "This...is the power of what is called a Super Saiyan God that has ascended beyond that which is called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan but I just call it Super Saiyan Blue." Link walked closer to Thorn and as he did Thorn's energy even though he couldn't sense it was still warm and almost inviting him to reach his hand out. Thorn then said to Link while his eyes were trained on Sheik "I wouldn't get too close to my aura...while it may be inviting right now with the lightning sparking around me it may give you a lethal shock." Link then said while pulling his hand back to him "I see, well it's still a cool thing to see." Thorn went to speak however Sheik intervened and said while getting closer "I can sense that your energy is much stronger than before but I cannot sense how strong it truly is." Thorn simply said while powering down to his base form "That's because my power in that form is Godly...mortals cannot sense Godly energy unless they have the proper training for them to sense and acknowledge it." Just then a loud and evil voice spoke saying to the trio "That was quite the light show but I think I'll go ahead and cancel this festivity right now." Just then Ganondorf emerged inside the Temple of Time however it wasn't truly him but more of a phantom of himself! Thorn powered up to a Super Saiyan form and said "Bring it on you bastard! I've been waiting for you to fight me!" The phantom smiled and said while pointing their sword at Thorn "Good...show me more of that hatred, it will fuel me and be your downfall!" Sheik then said while pulling on Thorn's arm "That may be a phantom but he's still strong! You won't beat him like that!" Thorn pulled his arm away and said while steady looking at Phantom Ganondorf "Watch me. This phantom will die in 10 seconds." That was a bold claim and what no one knew was that Thorn could back it up without any hesitation, Phantom Ganondorf went to move and when he did even as a phantom Link and Sheik could see the pained look in his eyes as Thorn had driven his fist through the phantom while saying "That only took me one second...and I still have 8 seconds left." Then Thorn jumped away from the phantom making sure that Link and Sheik were behind him before charging up his favorite move which was the Final Kamehameha, even as a phantom Ganondorf was both scared and afraid of Thorn's power and he knew that if Thorn ever were to find out where he truly was he was not ever going to return. The attack hit the phantom with such force and with a high amount of energy that Ganondorf screamed out with his last breath as a phantom "I WILL SEE YOU SOON AND I WILL KILL YOU!!!" Thorn said while still a Super Saiyan "No...you won't you bastard." After using that amount of energy Thorn dropped his Super Saiyan form while also dropping to a knee, Link ran over and caught him while saying "That was impressive! Can you show me how to do that?" Thorn smirked and said while standing up under his power "I can surely try to teach you how to use energy like that but I cannot teach you that move." Link was upset by this but Thorn simple said in a teaching manner "Until you attain more energy I cannot teach that you..it isn't personal but I will not be the reason you get harmed." Sheik then said while walking over to Thorn "Impressive display...I have a song for you, Link please accompany me for this one." Link did as instructed and waited for Sheik to play the notes first, after getting the notes correct Link and Sheik played the song only for Thorn to feel his energy recover fully as well as take any unwanted stress off his mind and body. Thorn then said to Sheik after the song ended "That's amazing! That song healed me completely...I don't feel any pain or stress on me at all." Sheil then said to them both but more so Link "I don't have a name for it however I think it would be fitting to call it Thorn's Song, it can heal you but you must only use in an emergency situation." Thorn knew the risk of abusing a source like that so he wouldn't rely on it unless he absolutely had to and even then he more than likely would refuse it, Link however wasn't as serious about it and didn't realize how serious Sheik was until Thorn had to tell him not to abuse it ever. Our two heroes made their way to the Forest Temple where they would clear out the enemies there and save the Sage of the Forest named Saria.
