On the table, did it stand,
A tall, metallic hourglass.
Tears, regrets, and pains of sand,
Flowed through the hourglass.
It'll be okay, there's still some time
Left in this hourglass.
The bottom's not full yet, we can still try
To not fill up this hourglass.
Sure the bottom is full, but the top
Is still--half of the hourglass.
BUT,
Emotions, fears, overwhelming drops,
Will someday break the hourglass.
