Lurs was a rather calm and wise boy, while growing up he enjoyed sword fighting. He really wants another sibling but his parents have issues with making a child. He eventually has a sister named Meera, who was named after the girl who saved his fathers live multiple times. He is named after his mothers brother who died in battle, he was very curious about his deceased family members and would always sit with his father for conversations about the past. With his mother he always talks about how to be a proper lord and how she was proud of him. She was very straight to the point and would be the one to teach him how to use a bow and arrow. He met a Martell girl many years later and fall in love, the couple ends up having three children.
