Breaking Point

Part 3 - First Day

Betty's POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm. It is 6 in the morning and I am tired. I hear noises from downstairs I make my way down there and eat breakfast. I eat lucky charms cereal and orange juice. While I make my cereal, Jordan is cleaning up his bowl and mom is not awake. About 10 minutes later I finish and clean up my bowl. I head on upstairs and start to get ready. I decide to wear a white t-shirt, black ripped jeans, white converse shoes and tie a flannel around my waist.
I finish getting ready and walk to the door. I stand there for a few minutes and wait for Jordan because he is driving me to school. As I am standing there, mom comes up to me, A-"What are you wearing? That is not appropriate for school!" "What's not appropriate about it? It's just a couple of rips" A-"Fine, back talk me all you want but one day when you really need me, I won't be there, I will not be standing by your side to help you. Because you don't need help, you can do want you want" she says rolling her eyes.

Jordan's POV
As I'm walking from the kitchen to the door, I hear mom and Betty arguing so I start walking faster. When I get to the door way where they were I see Betty digging her nails into her palms like she does when she gets mad. I drop me keys and grab her hands to try to stop her and clam her down. After she calms down I grab my keys and we get into the car. As soon as she closes her door I can hear her lightly crying probably hoping that I don't hear. Instead of getting into my seat I go over to her side, open her door and pull her into a hug until she stops crying. Most of the time she can't control her crying because of her anxiety so I'm happy that she calmed herself so we wouldn't be late to school.

Betty's POV
I am sooo happy to have Jordan in my life. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. As we start to drive to school, I say "Thank you" quietly but just loud enough so he would hear. J-"No problem. Just ignore her and have a great day" he says. In about 10 minutes we pull up in Riverdale Highs parking lot. I get out of the car and walk to the student lounge to find my friends.

(About 3 hours later)

Me and Kev have 2nd class together, we start walking when someone runs into me. They where running so I knew it wasn't on purpose until they looked up, "Sorry" I say before I realized who it was. Chuck. (He is a grade older than Betty). C-"Watch where your walking" "Well actually you ran into me" I say shyly C-"What did you just say to me?" He said starting to get louder "Nothing" I reply in a normal tone C-"Oh really?" He says and pushes me against a locker, holding me against it by my shoulders. By this time we had people surrounding us. "You were the one who was running" C-"You know who you are talking to right?" "Of course how could i not know you"I said while rolling my eyes C-"Good so I advise you never talk to me again and watch where your waking" he says as he lets go of me. "What if I want to share with everyone how bad of a person you are" Everyone was videoing us C-"Well at least I'm not ugly like you"

Jordan's POV
I see everyone videoing something and I push through than all as I hear chuck saying C-"Well at least I'm not ugly like you" When I get to the center I see he has me sister pinned to a wall. I walk up behind him and tap his shoulder. C-"Hey what's up" He says letting go of her. "What's going on?" I ask C-"Well this nerd freshman here ran right into me" "You do know who that is right?" I say Chuck looks at me with a confused face "That's my sister and since you called her a nerd and ugly, you are no longer on the football team." C-"YOU CANT DO THAT" He reply's shouting "Yea I can" I say calmly as I hug Betts and make sure she is okay. About 2 minutes later we hear WB(Principal Wetherbee)-"Everyone get to class!" WB-"Except for you three" B-"I didn't do anything" she says worriedly. She never gets in trouble. WB-"You three come with me"
